Book Rating

I debated between 3 or 4 stars for a really long time.

Bad: Slow plot for sure. A few things that the dog said was "truth" that I just outright disagree with.

Good: Heartwrenching and heartwarming all in one. The kind of book that just STICKS to ya.

Maybe not meant for all readers, but I enjoyed it, so worth a try.

A story about being reunited with family and overcoming things together.
I thought this book was pretty great, not my favorite book by Denise Hunter as I felt it a bit more dramatic than need be (which is unusual for Denise Hunters Books). But overall it was a great summer read and I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

I don't know why I haven't given this five stars because I don't normally buy book after book in the same series unless I'm obsessed, and I am pretty much but only due to the Raven/Christian brewing romance. It's been driving me mad for the last 3 books and finally we may be getting somewhere.

Off to buy book 4.

I don't seem to be having much luck with my books this year so far. None of the four books i've read yet have rated higher than 3 stars.

This one started good but then I started to lose interest. It didn't go as I expected but I carried on and it didn't spark anything in me. I won't be continuing the series.

Unlikable characters

I really wanted to like this movie as the topic matter is important however it is hard to sympathise with the characters as their personalities are quite bland or annoying. I wish they had used the start of the movie making the characters likable instead of rushing into the action.

The story is quite predictable as well.

I gave it 3 stars because some of the sights filmed in this movie are stunning and 3 of the actors while cool to watch.
