Dean (6927 KP) rated Appaloosa (2008) in Movies
Feb 16, 2018
A very well assembled cast in a high quality produced western, which stars and is directed by Ed Harris. The only real problem I kept waiting for all hell to break loose and the pace to be upped a few gears and unfortunately it never really happens. If you don't mind a slower paced western you will enjoy it, if you are after more action I recommend the remake of 3:10 to Yuma.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated A Brush of Darkness (Abby Sinclair, #1) in Books
Jan 6, 2021
For the first half or so, I'd give it 4 star, for the 3rd quarter I'd give it 2 star and for the last quarter I'd give it 3 star, which I suppose averages out at probably 3.25 stars.
Some things I liked and some things just sort of bored me. And it seemed so long (400 pages on Scribd).
I may read the next one at some point, I may not too.

With a lot of erotic romances I've read they seem to concentrate more on the sex but with this collection, it had a fair amount of romance in it too.
I cant say I had a particular favourite of the three but I did like how we met the character of book 2 in book 1 and the character from book 3 in book 2, if you know what I mean.
