The Game Ends
So this is how it ends, all the lead up and ends on a low note, i expected soo much more, and it ends up disappointed, which is sad because i really liked 1-6 alot and i expected to like this alot. In the end, the final chapter wasnt the final chapter cause in 2017 their made anethor one, a sort of reboot/reintroduction to the franchise. Than this year that going to reboot it again. So all in all this wasnt the final chapter. Just the final chapter for 1-6.
The Plot: As a fierce battle rages over Jigsaw's (Tobin Bell) terrible legacy, survivors seek support from a fellow survivor and self-help guru, who has a few dark secrets of his own. Meanwhile, crooked cop Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) seeks revenge against Jigsaw's wife and an author who has his own story.
Also what did the saw franchsie need, it needed 3d, and of course their choice the final chapter to do 3d. I watched it in 2d and what was ment to be 3d parts were bad, because you can tell their were ment to be watching in 3d, but your watching it in 2d.
Anyways a disappointed finale to a overall great franchise.

Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated Friday the 13th Part III (1982) in Movies

Sleepaway Camp 1982: 3D Jason
So this one is my favorite out of all them, its goes 3, 1, 4, 7, than who knows after that. The kills are fantastic, this movie is the first time you see Jason wearing the Hockey Mask. Plus its in 3D, yes thats right, 3D. Plus my second charcter Shelby. Thats right, he's my second favorite charcter, besides Jason. The loveable Shelby, fell so bad for him. Most to all of the deaths realie on the 3D espect, which is cool.
The plot: The third installment in the "Friday the 13th" series picks up on the day after the carnage with homicidal maniac Jason Voorhees (Richard Brooker) stealing some clothes and killing a local store owner. Meanwhile, Chris (Dana Kimmell) and her sometimes boyfriend, Rick (Paul Kratka), are hosting a group of teenage friends at Chris' lake house. Despite a run-in with a local biker gang, they enjoy an amiable weekend together -- that is, until Jason begins knocking off kids and bikers alike.
Part 3- takes place right after part 2, it even begins showing the ending of part II, which again is good. Plus that theme song, for this movie is epic, like a cool disco theme song.
Happy Friday The 13th Everybody.

Erika (17788 KP) rated Thor (2011) in Movies

I saw this movie last week in IMAX 3D for the Marvel Studios 10 film festival.
I remember really disliking the film when I saw it the first time. For two reasons, one, I thought Hemsworth was super corny in parts of the movie as Thor, and two, his EYEBROWS. I get distracted easily, so when something is off, it bothers me throughout the film.
This is a fairly normal origin story of Thor. The visual effects are stunning, and seeing it in 3D was really cool, especially when they were on Jotunheim.
My favorite parts were most scenes with Hiddleston's Loki, and Dennings' Darcy.

So, I've now seen this movie twice, once in 3D and once in 2D. Honestly, it doesn't need to be seen in 3D.
I know the critics panned this film, but I found it incredibly likeable. Tom Hardy made this film, he was Venom and Eddie Brock. The accent was whack, but that's his thing. The story was a standard origin story, and mostly predictable, it doesn't re-invent the wheel or anything.
I'm not sure how/why Michelle Williams was cast in the girlfriend role, but I found her completely annoying. But, I'm not a fan of Michelle Williams at all.

Wile E. Coyote takes a cactus to the dick in this butt-ugly 3D gimmick back from when everyone thought slowly, awkwardly mugging real up close to the camera every 15 seconds viewed through a pair of uncomfortable plastic glasses wedged onto your face was the future. A careless rehash of the most basic, overplayed aspects from the Roadrunner cartoons throughout the decades. Like wow, the coyote gets hit with a rocket and crushed by a boulder... haven't seen that one before - but now with the added headache of everything coming way too close to your grill because apparently 3D just can't work any other way. At least it's over quick.

The Greatest 3D Platformer of All Time
Super Mario 64 was a revelation in its time. I was so blown away as a kid by how massive in scope the game was, how much there was to do and see. Sure, games today have gotten bigger and prettier, but they often lack the magic and charm ofSuper Mario 64. There were plenty of other great platformers in the same era, Banjo-Kazooie, Rayman, and Spyro to name a few. Super Mario 64 reigns supreme though. Nintendo did it first, and they also did it best.
Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Aquaman (2018) in Movies
Nov 1, 2021 (Updated Nov 3, 2021)
Aquaman may have its flaws and it may not be on par with how Marvel have brought their characters to the big screen, but I have to say that this is one of those popcorn movies that I really enjoyed, forget the storyline of the movie, just get in there and enjoy the movie for what it is.
The effects of Aquaman look amazing, the underwater scenes look great on the IMAX screen and add to that the depth (no pun intended) of the 3D it all adds to the ride that you get with the movie and thankfully we don't get any of those purposely placed “look I’m poking in the face” 3D effects.
