Wait….it’s over? Where are the amazing chapter long sex scenes that make even me blush? Where is all the scenes detailed down what underwear she is wearing? I love me some Lilli Feisty but this novel just lacked the fire and erotica that the other two did.

One of the reasons Lilli Feisty is my favorite is because she writes erotica that’s outside the norm (considering they classify her novels as just romance instead of erotica.) Very rarely have I run across a book in the romance section and pull one out that has tasteful bondage in it. Feisty does it like it’s second nature. In this book, however, we only are given some steamy foreplay and two very short sex scenes. It was greatly disappointing especially since I have been waiting for it so long.

Despite that, I still cannot give it anything less 5 stars because there is not a single thing I can find wrong with it. I did not get my delicious sex scenes, though what I was given was just as tasteful and…well hot, but it still had everything that made it a great novel. I love the characters far too much for my own good. They are so 3D that it’s hard to believe that are just characters in a book. Not to mention they had me laughing the entire time with their banter.

If you’re looking for a novel the same as her first two, you might be disappointed by the lack of erotica. However, the story line and characters make up for it.

After spending years scaring villagers with his evil roar, then rescuing princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) from a dragon, and saving his in-laws’ kingdom, Shrek (Mike Meyers) feels his adventuresome days are over. This doesn’t sit well with him and he finds himself growing somewhat weary of his day-to-day life of a loving husband and father of three. He longs to be a “real” ogre again.

Enter Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn), who tricks Shrek into signing a contract with him, giving up a day of his life to be a real ogre again. Shrek finds himself back in Far Far Away, but this time it’s an alternate universe, one where ogres are hunted. In this alternate world, Shrek soon learns after meeting up with Donkey (Eddie Murphy), Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) and Fiona, that they have never met before.

Shrek realizes that the only way to fix things is to make Princess Fiona fall in love with him, and recruits Donkey and Puss in Boots to help him. Along the way Shrek faces many challenges in the world where Rumpelstiltskin rules and witches thwart his every effort, but in the end (as all fairy tales should, of course) love conquers all.

With nonstop laughs from the get go, this movie will not disappoint. The 3D effects were impressive, added a great depth to the movie, and really brought it to life. Although this is the fourth movie in the franchise, I was impressed with this one most of all. It has a heartfelt storyline that can capture an audience of all ages, making it a wonderful conclusion to the Shrek series.

Epic, this is not. A young and lonely teenage girl is transported into the secret forest world and makes friends and family of the leaf people as they band together with the goal to save the world from decay. This latest film from the creators who brought us Ice Age and Rio falls short of being epic and creates nothing more than an average unoriginal children’s film at best.

To go along with an average plot, there was average, unemotional voice acting from a diverse cast of actors with no real standout performances other than the comedic voices of Aziz Ansari and Chris O’Dowd. The two play a slug and snail and deliver some much needed laughs after a long and dry first half hour.

However this movie makes up for limited laughs with action. For a children’s movie there is a lot of action as the forces nature versus decay battle against each other. Parents take note, the 4 year old child who watched the movie with me got a little scared at parts, but made it through to the end when held safe in the lap of his mother for the remainder of the film.

Visually, the film is pleasing and its 3D is solid, especially during any scene where the characters are flying on top of birds. In the end I left the theater without a second thought for the film. Enjoyable, but it does not have the charm as recent family films like The Croods. Kids may not mind the average story, but it is one that is easy to forget.

A kid named Norman (voice by Kodi Smit-Mcphee), is so into watching zombie movies he has become a social outcast. Norman one day realizing that he has a gift to see dead people, but as such, few people believe him except for his friend Neil (voice by Tucker Albrizzi).
Despite the unusual gift that Norman possesses, he still tries to live a life as a normal kid, or so he thinks.

Even though, he tries to live a normal life, his schoolmates don’t think it’s normal for people to see dead people. Norman always get picked on by the school bully, Alvin (voice by Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who tries to give Norman a hard time as much as possible.

Fate soon steps in and requires Norman to use his gift to stop a curse but the pesky Alvin tends to ruin his plans. In time, Norman, Alvin and locals Neil, Courtney and Mitch, must stop the curse and find out why strange things keep happening to their little town.

While I was not sold on the 3D aspects of the film, one thing for sure is the beauty and the creativity in this movie. The graphics, the special effects, the voices of each character complimented the story well. It would have been easy to get caught up in the stop motion magic, but Norman has a story to tell as well. The team that created the sparkling “Coraline” has really taken the game to the next level.

While the movie is PG rated, it is an ideal family film for those with teens and tweens.
