Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Smoke and Fire (Dark Kings, #9) in Books
Feb 13, 2018
Next in the Dragon King Series. 4 Stars from me. Thought it was a little slow in the beginning but was worth the wait. I wouldn't recommend this as a stand alone read, there's just to many other stories going on that I can't wait to be resolved.
Many thanks to Donna and the publisher for this ARC

Angel (17 KP) rated Catching Jordan in Books

I just pulled an all-nighter because I could not put this book down. It's funny, different and the characters are so lovable!
I feel like I have to change all my previous 5 star ratings to 4 stars, because right now (heat of the moment) I feel like none of them compare to Catching Jordan.

Meg Dean (138 KP) rated Silver-Tongued Devil (Sabina Kane #4) in Books
Jun 20, 2018
I am sobbing right now! I hate how this books ends!
That said...and at the risk of **SPOILERS**...
Sabina had a rough book! She lost her love (hoping they work that out), her sister has died, and now the fate of the dark races rest on her shoulders! I CANNOT wait to read the final book!
4 Stars!

I received an ARC from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
This was a fast paced and very thought-provoking read. It was believable, dark, intense and mirrors numerous true life events. I highly recommend this book to those that are interested in family dramas that are gripping and well constructed.

Kimmic (814 KP) rated Mummy's Boy in Books

Read in one sitting. I did enjoy this enough to give maybe 4 stars, however at one point Trish describes an old boyfriend over 3 pages. Over these pages he is called Jacob, Jack and Jake. This was a really obvious mistake that should easily have been picked up in my opinion. Hence the lost of another star.
I read the vampire series years ago and loved them so I was keen to try this series too. I really enjoyed it, and had it not been for the crazy number of references to people feeling like they were going to pass themselves (in one chapter it was about 4 times!!) I wouldnhave given 5 stars!

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Across The Divide (Collector, #3) in Books

3.5 stars, just because for most of this book Ryker and Zoey were apart and i was disappointed because they are so cute together--in their deadly ways--and how they treat Sprig!
That ending is proper cliff-hanger too! How could it just end like that? But i have a feeling that book 4, Ryker will get his powers back and be able to save Zoey, so I'm off to start book 4, which thankfully I already have so i can jump straight in!
