Baldacci does it again! If I wasn't already, I am now officially hooked on his books.
This particular book is the first in a series about the Camel Club. A group of rag-tag misfits who are hell bent on proving conspiracies within the US government. What's not to like about that!? Of course they all have "checkered" pasts that seamlessly weave into the premise of the book.
I do have to say that I gave this book only 4 out of 5 stars because it took me about a 100 pages before I truly got into the story. Once I was fully entrenched however the action was take my breath away GREAT!
I can't wait to get started on the next installment! I look forward to seeing what is in store for Oliver Stone, Alex Ford, & the rest of the crew this time around.

I have to say, I enjoyed this novel. It was a quick read, too! It was a little hard for me to get into at first because the narrator was very unemotional and I didn't know what to do with it. But after a bit, the action started to pick up and it went along very nicely. I wish that the ending didn't feel so rushed and the epilogue gave a time frame with it, but I did enjoy it. I recommend this to anyone who likes dystopias and books without love triangles. I do have to warn you, keep some water nearby when you are reading it because there are a few points where I got really thirsty while reading! I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because there were a few patches that felt a bit slow to me, but it was still really good!

I was so looking forward to reading this book, the 7 months waiting seemed like forever but finally the day arrived. Now 5 days later and i'm finished and I have to say it fell flat for me. We have the story of Gabriel and Julianne which seemed to be an account of day to day life with only a couple of interesting bits (sorry, i'm not giving anything away) Then theres Christa, some would say she got what she deserved and yes i think she did but it didn't keep me up till 2am reading so I could find out what happened to the nasty bitch. And then theres Paul...Why was he included? I seems to me his was a non story. I think I should have stopped at book 2 ( I can't believe I just said that!). 4 very generous stars.

This book was so fun :)
I loved all the unique stories and the imaginary British accents in my head (Sigh..). The stories are a mix of mystery, laughter, intrigue, and faith. I truly enjoyed reading this mix of stories; plus I found some new to me authors to read! The characters in each story were engaging and I really didn't want to say goodbye to them. I loved the lessons that the characters learned and thought that they were well thought out and grew as the story progressed.
I definitely recommend reading this book (or books as its 9 different stories) at the next opportunity. I give them a 4 out of 5 stars for the diversity, the creative characters, and for giving me some truly happy smiles.

Arienna is a wayward brownie that wants to have love and sex and lots of it. She has had her heartbroken too many times especially when her ex marries her mother!! She gets drunk then wakes up in a fairy prison with her best friend can she form an alliance to help the fairies bring peace to the kingdoms or will she be executed for her sins?

I really enjoy Miranda Grant's writing and stories I have read the fairy-tale of the myths series. This book has a lot more sex and steamy scenes and a lot more graphic violence then the others I have read but there are also a lot of other emotions involved and you can feel them with the way she writes. She is a fantastic author with a fantastic imagination and I cannot wait to read more from her.

Well done Miranda 4/5 stars
