Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated The Score (Off-Campus, #3) in Books

4.5 stars.
I would have happily given this 5 stars if not for that bit near the end where Dean went off the rails. I know he was in pain but you had a great girl there waiting to help you, you arse!! What were you thinking!?
I loved Dean. I think I was looking forward to his story since the first one. He was such a manwhore but the fun, flirts with anything kind. He wasn't heartless at all. I couldn't wait to see what sort of girl would bring him to his knees, and who would have thought a rebound, one night thing with a girl who did not want to sleep with him while sober would have been the one?
I loved them as a couple and I look forward to Tucks book!

Nicole Hadley (380 KP) rated I Am Bat in Books
Jun 18, 2018
I am Bat by Morag Hood is a simple picture book. There are many things children will enjoy about it. The main character, Bat, is grumpy and selfish with his food, but he is adorable. The illustrations are cute and the reader ends up liking this grumpy little bat. The drawings are simple, but are done well. The book touches on fruit, colors, feelings, and hints at friends.
I give this story 4/5 stars.

Kristin (149 KP) rated The Art Of The Next Best in Books
Dec 7, 2018
Disclaimer: I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest (not necessarily positive) review.
I'm currently bingeing the 4th season of "House of Cards," and I must say this novella fits right into the frame of mind that goes hand in hand with that show. Just these few pages has me geared up and ready to go, playing "spot the backroom deal," "whose hand is in whose pocket," and so forth. If this is a lead-in for the 5th full book, go ahead and sign me up!

Kristin (149 KP) rated You Are Graduating Soon: What's After High School? in Books
Dec 7, 2018
Disclaimer: I received an audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review.
While I graduated several years ago, I was easily able to look back on that point in my life and find everything in this book to be extremely relevant. It's easy to follow, simple to understand, and explained in a way that makes sense no matter who you are, student or parent. I would say this should be a must-read for high school seniors, especially those who aren't quite sure what they want to do upon graduation.
