"Not only do I enjoy reading her books, but I am always thinking of how I could produce her stories as a movie for the Hallmark Channel. I am always looking for a good, sweet story and this fits!"

"“Nothing’s gonna harm you/ Not while I’m around” — it’s the purest lyric, I think, in any musical. I found it moving as a teenager when I first heard it; I find it even more moving now as a parent."

Ummmm.... Yeah.... Okay
Um. Yeah. So I watched this movie the other night.... And quite honestly.... I am at a loss for words.
I would love to rate and review it. But I'm still unsure what I watched.
I have yet to make a connection between what I seen and what I felt ..
But when I do... I will Definately let you know.
So for now. I rate it 5.
Til I figure it out.

Not bad at all. I liked the premise. The characters reluctance got on my nerves a little but I guess it made the story a little more believable. The storyline was a bit unusual but in a good way. Only thing I will say is sec scenes were a little skimmed over but on a whole was definitely worth the read. Well written with very few mistakes. I liked it.

Side A and side B (1 more)
A song for every poem
Can get kinda boring (0 more)
First poetry book
I loved the whole song for every poem, like a cassette tape it had a side A and side B which was cool. Overall the poetry was... ok. Some I related to deeply and brought a tear to my eye, but mostly I forgot them as soon as I read them.

I can't remember much about this but I feel like I read this before I watched the movie and the movie really let me down... I dunno, but I feel like the movie really let me down because the ending felt so different from the book.

I remember enjoying the book quite a lot. A quirky and quick read.

Raging Bull (1980)
Raging Bull (1980)
1980 | Drama

"So, Raging Bull. We got a young De Niro, who put the weight on and took it off. “I got no choice!” I mean again, its something very specific to a culture and neighborhood. A young Pesci, Scorsese, all the acting in it, I just connected with it. I laughed and I got uncomfortable at the same time. I felt every emotion every time I watch that film. That’s a great night at the cinema for me when I’ve laughed, when I’ve cried, when I was angry, and when I was turned on. All of those emotions are happening when I watch that film. It’s like putting my favorite audio book on. Sometimes I can just close my eyes and listen to them talk, and there’s such a rhythm. It just feels so authentic and this is just regular conversation. It was almost like they didn’t even have a script. I think that’s a testament to the acting and the writing."

"This is a really sad song for me. I listened to it in a sad stage of my life, I could have gotten through without it, but it encouraged self-pity and staying in the sorrow, and I think that’s not always a bad thing. Sometimes you can stay for a while on things and cry and move on a bit later. I never listen to this song anymore because it reminds me of a sad time, but it’s still an important song to me. “I like Imogen Heap as a producer. I like the vocoder on this, even though I think she’s using a different machine than the standard vocoder; I don’t really like the way a vocoder makes double voices sound so thin. If it sounds like I’m using a vocoder then I have always made it myself, but it’s a good balance here with this song. It works. I think vocoders are an ugly thing, but the way it’s executing its mission in this song is good. “This song opens up my memories, but it will live on forever for me I think. Some dude used this sample in a song which I hated, and it got more famous than her song, so now I put it on all the lists I can really. I know people know about her, but I just wish more people had heard this song."

Happy Death Day (2017)
Happy Death Day (2017)
2017 | Horror, Mystery, Thriller
My kind of groundhog day
This film had a very simple story line, but it was shown in a way that I really enjoyed. I put this film on expecting a mediocre horror film, just to put on to pass time. I was surprised to have enjoyed it so ,such. While not a horror on the traditional sense of the word, it had elements of one. I enjoyed watching relationships change throughout and I always enjoy a good "who dunnit" especially when I don't guess it.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the other three. Nora's whiney-ness just got to me in this and her being in charge of a Nephilim army when she's dating a fallen angel just seemed a little strange.

A lot of questions were answered in this in regards to just about everything and if I'm honest I skipped over description looking for the conversational parts because it seemed to go on for a long time, being dragged out.

I liked Dante. I never realised how wrong I could be about a character until this book. I wont spoil it but Jeez.

It was a good ending but I kind of think I'd lost interest in the series by the end.
