I hate to give a 2 star review, but for some reason, this novella could not hold my interest. Not that I wasn't curious about Dawson and Bethany's story, but I found myself skipping through a lot of it. It was still a sweet story.

I am just not a fan of Drake
I won the Scorpion album from a Smashbomb Giveaway.

I am not a fan of Drake, and I didn't play all the songs. I have heard In My Feelings way too much, and it became overrated to me. I like the Keke Challenge though, because I get to see people make fools out of themselves while their car goes away lol ;D

I liked the old Drake, but the few songs I heard from this album weren't for me.

A Quiet Place (2018)
A Quiet Place (2018)
2018 | Drama, Horror, Thriller
I hate horror movies. And yet, from the first trailer, I couldn't wait to see this film.

I'm a huge John Krasinski and Emily Blunt fan, so that was the first part, but to know that he also had a part in the writing and direction, my interest was piqued.

I was blown away by it. It is the first time I have ever enjoyed myself in a horror film. Ever. I did get scared. There was definitely a psychological weight. Most importantly, I got choked up where I was supposed to.

It was a marvelously written and acted film and had a theme that I think will stand the test of time. A theme where to some extent... The monster... Isn't really the monster.

DID NOT FINISH

If you have been following my book journey for a while, you will know what I’m about to say. I don’t have rules about reading a certain book, but there is one thing I always stick to:

I give a chance to every book that comes my way. If I have it in my physical library – it will be picked up at some point.

Pagan Portals – Celtic Witchcraft is a book I won from a giveaway. It is not usually a genre I go for, but I do love witchcraft and spells. It intrigues me.
This book focuses on the Celtic Witchcraft and explains what it means to firstly, be a witch and what Celtic culture is all about – the beliefs, the customs etc.

After reading 30 pages, I decided that this book is not for me. This is, therefore, the second ”Did Not Finish” for 2019.

It starts very slow, gives detailed information of all things Celtic and the history of Celtic Witchcraft. It was a very boring introduction for me.

Then I got involved in a few life lessons without any added benefit really, and a full overview of a moon cycle followed by a detailed report on how the author’s behaviour changed during all these phases. This might be something you are interested in, but I felt like wasting my time reading someone’s daily moon diary. This was the moment I decided to close this book and move on.

I can understand why some might like this book, and you are valid! I am aware a lot of you will love and appreciate this book for what it is. And that’s okay. I just don’t seem to fit into this group. I love learning about witchcraft, witches and find out new things, but this book didn’t give me what I was looking for.

Better luck next time!

This film is definitely a cry-fest, and I understand why it got all of the nominations. I thought Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne did a fantastic job. While I thought it was good, I wouldn't watch it ever again.

I thought that this was a very good story. It took a while for me to get into it but as soon as I did I was hooked. I'm not normally into romance novels but I thought this was very good.

I loved this movie. I thought it had a good pace, kept my attention, and I loved the story. I loved seeing the Harry Potter world in a different generation. The setup for the continuation of the story was perfect.
