Not what I expected. I think I keep changing my mind about whether I like this or not?
Read it in a day so I was hooked because its a different type of story, and I wasn't sure what was coming next (but I was because the story is backwards)
Not sure about the quality of "romance" as such.
Maybe the idea of this book is more appealing than the actual content? It wasn't bad, but it could have been a lot better

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
The description for this anthology was rather vague, but it was listed under erotica so I went in with an open mind. I was not disappointed. I was treated with some of the most erotic stories I have read in a while. In fact, when I read it, I was in a dry spell with erotica. It seemed that everything I read was lackluster and boring. This duo spurred my love for erotica all over again. My only complaint is that I read through them so quickly that they ended way too soon. I wanted more. Since, I have read more stories from the author, and found them just as enjoyable.
I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a quickie (pun intended).

Erika (17789 KP) rated Penelope (2006) in Movies

I have a lot of favorite movies, often when I describe a movie, if I loved it, I describe it as my favorite. My friend pointed that out a few years ago when I was telling her about this movie, and it made me think.
This movie is legitimately one of my top ten favorite movies.
Penelope is a modern, cute fairy tale about Penelope, who happens to have a pig nose because of a curse.
This movie has a ton of random actors in it: Christina Ricci is the title character. Youngish James McAvoy (<3), Reese Witherspoon, and Peter Dinklage.

Georgina DeBurca (2 KP) rated C791 (Cyborgs: More Than Machines, #1) in Books

Got this whilst it was free on promotion. It was a good enough premise but I think, for once, I'd liked to have had a bit more story and a little less sex. It was good, but a sex scene or two could have been removed and replaced with deeper character development, or perhaps none sexual interaction. For that reason and the reason that I saw several errors in the book, ie words jumbled in a few sentences, I gave it 4 stars. I might be a little generous but it was a good storyline and I enjoyed it.

Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated A Fool There Was (Sukey Reynolds, #10) in Books

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I liked this book need a teensy bit less than #9 but i can't really put my finger on why.
Sukey and Vicky see a suspicious man passing off an envelope and then he dies in a car crash that seems very suspicious.
A head found on the beach is connected and our friends s and V are on the case .
I don't know, this one just seemed a lot more slow going for me.
I like it a lot, though!

Dana (24 KP) rated Where She Went (If I Stay, #2) in Books

Okay, I am going to keep this short and sweet. I was not a fan of this book. Probably because in If I Stay, I didn't like Adam, and here he is as the main character. I thought he was whiny and manipulative and was just generally unlikable. I was not a fan of the ending at all. That's all I have to say about it.
