I could not put this book down! I have been having trouble picking up a book lately that I could finish and I'm so glad I picked this up!

Hey you Europeans! I just have heard of stroopwafels (I watch a lot of cooking shows).

Any online recommendations where I can get some good ones? I really want to try them.

They are like the caramel waffles you might get at Starbucks (pre-packaged at the cash register, not in the cabinet) but there is a definite spice to them, I'm not sure the Starbucks ones have the cinnamon in the syrup.
I am currently addicted to some cheap spiced (speculaas) biscuits from Poundland here, which are just ridiculously nice for the price. They are a thin biscuit with much more spice.

Okay. I hesitate to say too much in this review as the book hasn't been released yet & I know quite a few people anxious to get their hands on it. I don't want to spoil it for anyone. So I will say that it did not disappoint in the least.
I think the biggest issue I had with it is that it isn't Cotton Malone. I love that character! This is a stand alone book. It did take me a little reading to really get sucked in to the story. But with that being said, it is still a Berry book with all the trappings that make him such a wonderful author to read.

I'm newer to Brad Meltzer's work, but my dad loves him, so I was excited to give him a go. I have to tell you that I was not disappointed, that's for sure! This book is filled with phenomenal plots and twists. I wasn't much of a history fan in school, but this book, was filled with truth from history a long with the occasional fiction to keep the reader hooked, line and sinker. I highly recommend this book with 4 stars and two thumbs up. I can't wait for another book like this.

I really liked this movie! I was surprised at first. I'm not a Lego fan and I didn't understand how they could make it into a movie but I am so glad I gave it a chance. It is the right mix of adventure and comedy, something unique when you're thinking about a kid's movie.
My kids loved the main character and ran around singing the "Everything is Awesome" song for weeks after and I couldn't even be annoyed because that song is freaking catchy!
I would call this movie a must watch for parents of kids from about preschool age and up. Any younger and they won't really be drawn into it.

"I think my fifth choice will blow you away. At a time in my life when I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to pursue, and I had a feeling I wanted to pursue acting as a career, one of the films that really hit me hard emotionally that made me feel pushed that way was An Officer and a Gentleman, with Richard Gere. There was just something about that film that had such a profound effect on me. The line,”I have no place else to go,” that he yells up at Lou Gossett, Jr. resonated. I love that film for the emotional impact it had on me. It’s an amazing film."

"This really scared me coming out of it. You knew it was made for 10 cents – that was obvious – but it actually had some fabulous performances. Some of the moments – like when Leatherface kicks open the door and comes after them – I mean your blood just runs cold. It was just amazingly visceral visual storytelling. A few years earlier, I was at college and I wrote a synopsis for a novel and my teacher feedback was “this would make a great movie!” And I was crestfallen, but it made me realise I had a great visual imagination as well, and for years I fought it but eventually realised that was the thing I could do"
