I read the Riyria Revelations, then I thought I would wait a while before reading this book. I mean, it's reasonable to take a break after six volumes in a universe, right? But I did have a sample chapter, just sitting there in the Kindle app. Just. Sitting. It wouldn't really hurt to just take a peek, would it?

I think you know what happened next. In a few minutes, there was less money in my bank account, but I had the full novel in my greedy hands, so I could get on with learning how Royce and Hadrian met. I read far more slowly this time, taking more time to savor the story. I know all too well that there's only one more novel available at the moment, and I'm trying to make myself wait for that one. Trying is the operative word, here. I enjoy Sullivan's work far too much to be very disciplined about it.

I absolutely recommend ALL of the books, but I do think it might be best to read them in the order in which they were published.

This is a favorite of mine from back in the day. Basically, a girl is left on an island alone for a very long time. The way it ways written made me really feel for the girl-I remember this book as being the first I read that really played with the emotions. I bought a copy for my daughter, but since I thought it was cool she won't read it lol!

Fantastic read
This book is fantastic, it grips you and urges you to read more. I love the characters and the idea behind the plot- I have always been a fan of mythology and Greek myths and this book- in fact the series as a whole- is a great read. I have read it many times and it has become a go to for when I want to escape.

I am a huge Marvel fan and I have been waiting for this movie for a while! When we went to go watch it I was hoping it would be really good and I was not disappointed! The way they brought Wakanda to life was just incredible and all the tech they uss on a daily basis was really cool! If you like Marvel this is definitely a must see and must own!

A so-so film, really aimed at a younger audience. Herbie for the next generation. Might be ok for them but I didn't think it was as funny as I remember the originals when I was a kid. I'm not sure about animating the front of the car to make it more like a face in some scenes either. Ok to watch through with your kids, surprisingly good cast for this I have to add!

I didn't like the ending or the witch character I thought it ruined the story would have been better If they was facing another criminal rather than a witch (0 more)
The main characters was brilliant and had potential to be a great film but when they face a witch it ruined the film, I thought it would have been better if they raced a new criminal.

"I’m grateful I saw this movie when I was twelve years old, without a scrap of cynicism. It was my first exposure to the anatomy of a sequestered jury. I remember I couldn’t wait to get my turn to serve, to be like Henry Fonda and repudiate bigotry once and for all. This was the American dream—not a Cadillac and a cigar but justice—righteousness and fair play that any child could understand."

"To me it’s the greatest comedy ever made, and I just love the fact that it’s a comedy but it’s just such a dark one. Apart from the visual treatment of the film…I guess it was the first Kubrick film that I ever saw, and it really had an impact on me as a result of that — because I hadn’t really seen a film that looked like that, that had it’s own unique style."
