I liked this initially but then i grew a little bored with the storyline and pretty much skimmed the last couple of chapters. I didnt enjoy this as much as i liked her other band/rockstar series.

Wow. This movie was surprisingly better than I anticipated. I was not expecting much from this movie and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of thought that went into this movie. I enjoyed it a lot.

A re read of an absolutely amazing story. I haven't bought myself to read the sequel yet... maybe this time I will? Who knows
I am not sure how I would feel about the story without Will?

A different zombie film
I just watched this for a second time and I still think it's a pretty good zombie film. Good actors and a guest appearance by Bill Murray.
It's not your typical zombie film, there is a definite lack of zombies and a focus on the personal and relationships during the apocalypse, with humour. It does make a nice change.
My favourite quote I sthat we've gone from "mad cow, mad human, mad zombie"

A great indepth look in a pathologists life
I picked this one up cause I had seen it around a lot and thought it was similar to This Is Going To Hurt by Adam Kay. Same genre (medical), TOTALLY DIFFERENT!
This is a non fiction book with an indepth look in to the life/work of a Pathologist and I when I say indepth I mean it. Parts are very descriptive, Stomach turning. It will take you on a real life journey to many post mortems from babies to the elderly and all in between. Which may be an unpleasant and an unsuitable read for some readers.
However, it is an eye opening read, I learnt a lot from this book. It contains some of the worlds biggest terror attacks and devastating incidents. We get a good glimpse into what happens after death, how they reach verdicts and how pathologists conduct their work. It is brutally honest and fascinating. A real page turner and brilliantly written.
I awarded a well deserved four stars and would highly recommend to you all.

My first audiobook!
I listened to this as an audiobook, read by Neil Gaiman himself, and it was so good! At the same time believable and fantastical, just the kind of story that I really enjoy. The more Gaiman I read, the more I think he's a storytelling genius!

My favourite book this year!!
Another book that deserves more than 5 stars. I loved this - a book that I thought about constantly, even when I wasn't reading it. The story of Cyril Avery's life, from the moment his mother is ejected from the village church and the village itself, up until near his death. An absolutely wonderful story. I laughed (a lot), I cried.
Highly recommended!!!

iamsara (130 KP) rated Goodreads: Book Reviews in Apps

This is a fantastic app for book readers. I love being able open Goodreads when i am at the library and find out what books I have on my to read list. I sometimes have an issue where if i mark a book at read without marking at currently reading first then it doesn't register as read, therefore it won't add to my total of books read.
