Great farming board game! I enjoyed it very much!
I liked the tokens especially - so cute!
When played for the first time, the rules are hard to process unless you have a person that has played it a lot of times. When you play for the first time - expect to lose. Badly. I could have completed so many orders, but I didn't know I was eligible.

This is a game that you get better and better by playing more and more.

Do you play with any of the expansions? I have heard they make the game significantly better.

Yes it does.... the Essiantial is essential... I've not played with the moor expansion yet.

I need some movie recommendations. I want to watch something scary. I prefer either ghost stories or serial killers, preferably psychologically frightening, not a violent gore-fest, and with a plausible storyline. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Edited: I like ghosts because of the history involved. I like a good story.

Nothing about religions, cults, demons, exorcisms, and the like.

No tortured ghosts from asylums or other locations of abuse.

No animals. Children are iffy, at best.

I know. He's a freak psycho. But Mandy is not really about him as much as the visuals and the journey. It's almost a horror version of John Wick.

+1 for 'Ghost Stories'. I'm booked to go see the theatre show of this when it returns to London in a couple of months and am really excited! I can also recommend the movie 'A Ghost Story' if you haven't seen it. Strange concept but once you get into it, it's really quite good.

I downloaded it for a short while as I read every day and was going away and didn't want to take lots of books with me. It was easy to use and opened when you last read to, but I missed the feel of books and being able to flip backwards and forewards especially if I wanted to reread a bit or if it was boring skipping a few pages. I deleted the app and have gone back to reading proper books.

Firstly, this was the second time I have read this book, having read it during my childhood. I decided to re-read it in honor of the new movie. I find myself liking this story mostly out of nostalgia. It is a fun adventure and I enjoy the characters and scientific theme. It is a short fun book well worth a read. One of these days I will get around to reading the rest of the books in the series.

This album and I have a bit of a past. I like some Husker Du, but I really want to love them. The thrashy guitars and wailing vocals tick my boxes. But this album just seems to be those and very little in the way of a song, and I found it largely unpleasant listening. I am hoping Warehouse or Candy Apple Grey are higher in the list.

"I first read this when I was a young girl, way before I had ever had any real romance of my own.... but Kathy’s speech to her maid Nellie about her love for Heathcliff always stayed with me: “Nelly, I AM Heathcliff—he’s always, always in my mind—not as a pleasure, any more then I am always a pleasure to myself—but, as my own being.” It’s still for me the most passionate and fatalistic novel about romantic love."

A great rainy day read :)
I enjoyed this debut novel by Mary A. Felkins. I thought that both Tracey and Tom were well-rounded characters and I liked getting to know their individual stories. Both characters had some real-life applicable struggles and I liked how Mary A. Felkins had the characters overcome them.
The plot was good and kept me interested and engaged throughout the whole book. I thought that there were some interesting points made and some quotable moments

"I could pick loads of Super Furry Animals and their assorted other albums. I really loved Cian’s [Ciaran] album from last year, Outside In. But Radiator has ‘Demons’, it has ‘Down A Different River’ and ‘Mountain People’ which I think is the best exploration of Welshness ever written in a song. It’s almost a poem put to music. I think they’re one of our favourite bands full stop. They’re unbelievably talented and I wish they would come back together and tour with us."

"I read this alarmist right-wing book about cults in my school library, and at the time I was like, “Cults – this is amazing!” There was a section on satanic cults. They had a whole chapter about Venom and their Black Metal LP. It quoted the lyrics to “Sacrifice” about drinking a chalice of blood – and I remember thinking ‘this is so stupid and crazy’: I had to buy the album. It wasn’t as heavy and scary as I thought it would be."

I really enjoyed this!

The fact that it just kinda ended at the 95% mark, leaving me needing to know what happens at the party mentioned, may have affected my rating. I cant believe it just ended like that! I need to know what happens between them!

I loved James and Annabelle as a couple and I need to know that they get a HEA or at least get together in the next book. Luckily it's due out in a week or so.
