"I have a strong affinity for this one. I remember the first time I saw it. It was like a fever dream. I was maybe eleven and had picked it up in a video store in Colorado because of the poster."

Wow, even though I was told what to expect, I wasn't expecting anything as visceral and as raw as this book. The beginning though tough lulled me into a sense of security, I thought I knew where it was going to go - I didn't! There was a point in the middle where this became a bit of an issue, as I felt it moved around too much, but there was a reason to it. I'm not immediately going to move on to book two, not because I don't want to, but i feel I might have a nervous breakdown of I did!

I thought that this was a pretty good book! From what I had heard from other friends, however I thought it would be more creepy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I think that I may have a different sense of what is creepy than they do, though. It was a fun, quick read with really cool illustrations. If you want a good read that will only take a couple of hours. I highly suggest this book. There were a lot of moments I found predictable, but I was still intrigued by the ideas of the novel. I gave it a four out of five stars because I wanted it to kick up the creepy factor a notch, but all-in-all it was a really good book!

"I was reading about Ian Dury a few years ago. I'd heard his music before and I must confess, I wasn't that impressed. I found him to be a captivating figure, but the music was just too 1979 funky pub-rock. I didn't relate to it. But I wanted to read about him and then I discovered he had a son named Baxter who's a musician. Since then, I've probably listened to Happy Soup more than any record in the past few years – maybe a thousand times. I've had requests from my wife to please put on a different fucking record. All my five kids know the whole thing by heart because I got obsessed with it. It's starting to get a bit insanity-inducing. I still listen to music like a little kid: I discover something, I like it, and that's all I listen to for a while."

"I discovered this song and this band a year ago, quite randomly. I love going to rave parties alone and of course I don’t drink, because I don’t want to be vulnerable to an attack and get into any trouble. I don’t drink, but I stay safe and I just dance. “I just really love to dance. It’s kind of like a workout for me, because I’m very energetic on stage. I was at a rave party in France on a boat and I heard this song and I had to ask someone ‘What song is this?’ and I found it later. “Now I listen to it sometimes when I cook - everything techno is my cooking song. The last meal I was cooking and listening to it with was waffles I think. I have a new waffle maker and it can cook two waffles at a time."

"I’m a huge fan of the western genre, I really am. I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming; from a very early age I loved westerns. Read a lot of westerns. Went through a period when Louie L’Amour was something that I just read tons of, then sort of moved onto The Virginian, and then movies. I just totally loved that genre. Been a dream of mine to be a part of one."

I don't normally watch DC films, I prefer Marvel between the two, but they did a good job with this film. I was a bit unsure as to whether or not I should watch it in the cinema since Aquaman isn't exactly a major DC character, but I was wrong and I really enjoyed it.

I felt obligated to watch this after I had a meltdown at the last one. This time I was left a mess. I couldn't believe that Natasha killed herself but it was going to happen whether I liked it or not.

It showed a new side to the characters, which I enjoyed immensely.

I loved this book so much as a kid. I reread it so much that the cover nearly fell off. I was a pretty solitary child, so I related to the main character completely. I loved the history as well, this book is one of the many reasons I got a BA in history.
