In the third instalment of the Big Play series, we meet Finn in more detail. He is the cool, collected, one that has been there for Colt and Mack throughout. When Mack goes to New Zealand, he asks Finn to keep an eye on his sister as he feels that she is not quite herself. Finn wants to say no but doesn't. Instead, he ends up helping Layla in more ways than he could ever have imagined, and as a result, sees her as a completely different person. Due to Finn's support, Layla changes herself and finds courage when she thought she had none.

With hints being given with the overall story arc, as well as snippets pertaining to Layla directly, this is a wonderful addition. Well written, full of emotion and gripping situations and characters, this is guaranteed to draw you in to their story. You will be with Layla and Finn every step of the way, encouraging them to carry on when it seems too hard.

This is one of those series that I absolutely can't wait for the next book, but that is also bittersweet as I know it's the last one. Highly recommended.

This one carries on from where the last one finished. Dex is now a human-therian hybrid and is trying to figure out how to tell his family and team mates about whats been going on with him lately.

It's a short one compared to most of the other books in this series but we still have quite a good storyline arc in it involving Wolf - one of Sparks' old colleagues - and how he's playing with them a little, which I'm sure will lead us right into the next one which is Seb and the doc's story that has been in the works for a handful of books.

I do love this group of friends. They are close and tease each other all the time but we've really gotten to know them over the last seven books and I think I'd have a serious meltdown if anything happened to any of them.

I accidentally bought book 9 a year or so ago, not realising I hadn't already got this one but now I've read it I can easily continue the story whenever I want - which will be soon, but not just yet.

If you like mm romances where the guys can kick butt then you will really like this series.

Imprisoned Heir is the first book in the Atlantis Institute for Dangerous Criminals series and we meet Nyx. She is a very rare twin-soul which means whenever she sleeps or is unconscious, Eos comes out to play. That's okay except for when Eos kills two brothers and leaves Nyx too injured to escape. Nyx ends up in prison, tormented by her guard whose brothers Eos killed, and surrounded by her new 'friends', Frost, Dax, and Titus.

This was a well-written story with excellent characters. I enjoyed seeing Flavian struggle against the fated mate bond as he hated Nyx for what 'she' had done. The prison itself was well described as well as the Deep One's effect on people but Nyx in particular.

This does have an overall story arc so you don't get everything neatly tied up. Instead, it ends on a cliff-hanger, leaving you wanting the next book straight away.

A great story I thoroughly enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending.

Forged Redemption is the fifth and final book in the Tribal Spirits series, and we finally get Drew's story. Drew and Ally were a couple way back when, before they even really knew about mates. As such, they were together, they broke up, rinse and repeat. These two somehow find the time to sew their relationship back together, through distrust and mortal peril! As well as that, the ultimate battle is drawing to a close, and no one knows who will live to see the outcome.

As with all of Katherine McIntyre books, this was an absolute winner! The writing is tight with no unnecessary parts. Everything is there for a reason! The relationship between Ally and Drew is sensitively written considering their pasts. There are steamy moments that add to the story, definitely not distracting from the arc storyline.

I am sad to see this series come to an end, but at the same time, I am excited to see what Ms. McIntyre will bring next. I highly recommend both this finale and the whole series!
