277. The Endless. So this has to be one of the cooler films I've seen recently. Its about two brothers Aaron and Justin, that escaped from a cult that believed a UFO was coming to take them away, and knowing how these things usually turn out, Justin decides to take his little bro away and escape. Now a decade later, life hasn't been easy, and after receiving an eerie message in the mail from a member they used to know, speaking of 'the end' the brothers decide to see whats been happening or changed. And what they find is pretty incredible. One of those flicks I'd rather not spoil to much because it was really really good. A pretty awesome sci fi story, with great writing and directing, by the stars themselves: Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead! Lovers of science fiction and good story telling watch this movie! Aaron is surprised when he is asked to find a missing housewife. He gets frustrated when everyone seems to block his attempts to get answers. But when he stumbles on a dead body, things really get interesting.

I loved this book. Great characters and funny humor kept me turning pages until the end.

My favourite
I was quite simply blown away when I watched this . The writing is superb by Aaron Sorkin, the chemistry between the three leads along with the supporting cast is outstanding . You are drawn in from the start, no unnessasary scenes, no explosions, no car chases, just great acting, great dialogue. Everytime I watch it, I'm rivited and it always manages to produce the obligatory tear at the end.

Eye In The Sky (2016)

This thought provoking drone strike thriller is a tense and exciting watch with some excellent work from Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul and the much missed Alan Rickman. I liked how the film satisfyingly explores the political, ethical and emotional implications of ending a human life thousands of miles away from behind a computer screen. It was quite disturbing and sadly very realistic to see politicians arguing over the positives of murder. Well worth checking out.

Stalking Lindsey
It all starts innocently enough. Lindsey Norris is more than happy to help out Aaron Grady when he walks into the library asking for help with his roses. But when he begins to show up with roses to offer to her as a thank you, she begins to grow concerned. Despite repeated confrontations, Aaron doesn’t take no for an answer and shows up in places he doesn’t belong. Until he turns up dead behind the library. Lindsey’s fiancé, Sully, quickly becomes the prime suspect. Lindsey knows that Sully wouldn’t have killed Aaron despite the growing evidence. So, what is really going on?

This book is definitely a cozy with a thriller edge to it. It worked for this fan, and kept me glued to the book until I reached the very end. I did have a problem with how a couple of minor characters reacted to Lindsey’s situation, mainly because I found it unbelievable given their position. Then again, maybe it’s just wishful thinking that they’d react like I would in that situation. I did feel things were slowing down a tad at one point, but then the plot kicked into high gear and didn’t slow down again. All the series characters are here and are just as charming as usual. The new characters fit in well. We have the usual assortment of extras at the end of the book. This may be a more serious book, but we get some humor, and the two were balanced perfectly. Once again, this is a book that fans will enjoy.

This is acknowledged as the band's best album by the vast majority of fans for good reason. It is such an emotional rollercoaster, from the hope that The Unwinding Cable Car and Dismantle. My All American is based on a true story of a college football hopeful turned standout who is faced with a life altering diagnosis that will change the lives of everyone around him forever.

Very strong performance by both Aaron Eckhart and Finn Whitrock (fun fact: this is the first movie that I ever saw that Finn starred in.)

I'm a sucker for a true story, especially when it involves sports. If you are, you should definitely put this film on your list.

A Great Biopic
You can't really go wrong with Danny Boyle and Michael Fassbender. This is a fascinating take on Jobs' life and an intriguing idea to have it focus on a few major events as opposed to his entire life. Fassbender puts in a fantastic performance with a great supporting cast, and Aaron Sorkin's script is packed with wit and humour. My only criticism would be it is slightly slow paced at times.

Elemental Magick is the first book in The Donovan Coven series. We start off with the Grimoire itself as it tries to ensure it becomes Aaron's. There is instant attraction between Malakai and Aaron, quickly followed by proclamations of love and being soul mates. If you don't like insta-love, trust me, you probably won't like this book.

The story itself is fast-paced, quickly moving from one scene to another without a real chance to get to know each character. It flows nicely though, so as long as you're prepared to go with the flow and not dive too deep, you'll be fine. As you might expect, Aaron is a whiz at magic, even though he's a newbie. And at least one of his friends is a latent witch too.

This was a brilliant book, full of action both in and out of the sheets. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.
