A nice quick read. Such an easy story to get into and hard to put down. Although I read this after I’d watched the Netflix adaptation, it didn’t disappoint. Although very similar to start with, the last 50 or so pages are quite different. I will definitely be looking at continuing to read the series!

Stunningly animated and so refreshing to see a return to a more 2D style! Also nice to have a totally original story from a large studio, rather than an adaptation or straight sequel. This movie would be watchable for the animation alone, it's a massive bonus that the characters and plot pack a real punch.

This film had a great cast, but that was about it. Around five minutes in, I remember looking at my dad and we both gave each other disgusted looks. We should have left at that point , but we didn't. It just got worse as it progressed.
Avoid this crappy book adaptation at all costs.

Good action scenes
A very good comic book adaptation. Much better than some of the bigger comic to movie films of late. It has some cool effects and a very unlikely superhero. Throw in plenty of action and a good dose of humour to and you have a very enjoyable film.

I hope this starts a series...
This was good as a part 1. If this is all they do, then this will be a serious letdown. If you're expecting this ti be an adaptation of the novels, I direct your attention to him having the Horn of Eld.

Good video game adaption
Probably the best game to film adaptation so far. Really keeps the feel of the game with flashy graphic scenes just like playing the game. The charaters are true to the game and the fights very impressive. Complete with the sexy female charaters and it couldn't be any more like the game.
