"Read this book in every one of my adult decades and got something different from it each time. “Ulysses” isn’t a novel, it’s a life project, and like life itself, we embark upon it striving towards understanding it."

"The first book I read as a young adult that truly spoke to me about egocentric beauty ideals and white supremacy. I saw myself clearly in these pages as Pecola searched to be seen. A powerful, powerful book."

Probably the reason I've never wanted to get pregnant to be honest.
The first time I watched this I was pretty young and it freaked me out so bad. As an adult I really do just love this movie.

This is an ok introduction to Vampire fiction and a sort of sweet story, but I encountered it as an adult and was not very impressed. However at the time my teenage daughter loved it.
