One of my all time favourites
I first read this book about 30 years ago and it had a lasting impression on teenage me! I loved the ‘out there’ sense of humour and hadn’t read anything like it before. I have read it since as an adult and I still loved it. I love the fact that it manages to pick up so many different aspects of the human persona.

It's a bit like Dirty rotten scoundrels but this time it's the women who are the con artists. It's funny in places and has a tad more of an adult theme to it than DRS. A bit long at around 2 hours but at least that means the lovely Jennifer Love Hewitt is on the screen a bit longer. Overall quite light hearted and predictable but not too bad.

Fantastic young-adult adventure
In this book you follow Torak, a young boy, who develops an incredible relationship with a wolf pup. Together they go on an amazing adventure. Full of twists and turns. The author is extremely good at descriptive writing, as you read this you can really picture the scenes. This took me 2 days to read, that's how good it is.

I read this book as a child in elementary school and I loved the story. It is a wonderful tale that pulls you in, but is heartbreaking too. If you are an animal lover it will definitely tug at your heart strings. I'm not an overly emotional person, but it did make me cry. It was definitely worth the read and I may read it again as an adult.

I really liked Deadpool, it was good to see an adult superhero movie and the humour was excellent. Unfortunately, for me, this just wasn't as good. It was similar to the first film in character and style, maybe that was the problem. It just seemed like more of the same but not as good, they seemed to me to be trying too hard to make it work on too many levels.

A fun movie
What happens when you mix the movie Big with a superhero movie......you get this fun movie.
I was surprised by it. I am not one for superhero movies and definitely not a fan of DC movies. This just not talks about how a new superhero has to learn about his powers but also how a 14yr boy has to deal with being an adult.

Young adult novel about a teen who moves to a small town in Washington and falls in love with a vampire... I enjoyed it (and this isn't my normal reading fare), but couldn't past the terrible writing, lack of character development, and clunky passages that just made me cringe. If it had been better developed and written, it would have been a total winner, because it still had me spellbound.
