"This stylish, psychosexual B-picture is a really cool early example of low-budget New York filmmaking, and it also happens to be directed by MY GRANDFATHER! A great time capsule of smutty, old Times Square – in fact, all of the Times Square footage of Sal Mineo was "stolen", including a chase in the street, and supposedly the cinematographer nearly got killed by traffic during the filming of it. And definitely the first movie to ever shoot a scene in an adult book store. Seek out the right bootleg of this movie (which should clock about 90 minutes) because the only official release is a censored cut, and I know you… You like things sleazy."

I'm not having much luck with books lately. The last couple of young adult books I've started just haven't managed to grab my attention at all and I've DNF'd them. This one included.

DNF @ 22%

It didn't pull me in and make me want to forget everything else. The characters weren't in my face real and the continual chapter/character changes got a little annoying after a while. The underwater world held no appeal for me while I was more bothered about what was going on with Ashlyn above ground and then I'd read some and kinda lose interest in that but too.

I could really do with a book that's going to pull me in completely.

I wanted to leave it a while after reading before I reviewed this book. I had just finished reading Cathy Glass' latest offering, and appreciated (as enjoy for any of her books is perhaps not the right word.) it enough to want to read another. I decided I'd go to the very beginning and read this.

I think I hadn't prepared myself for how harrowing this one is though. It made me hate both being a man and an adult. Ultimately however I am glad I read this book. It has made me more resolute to make this world a better place for the next generations, and realised they are more precious and delicate than I ever believed.

A dark reverse harem......

Ava is gifted with a cheeky sarcastic streak.....I like her. I also feel for her, she doesn't know her parents and was abandoned to the system at three years old. That's hard on anyone......let alone a girl that can speak to spirits.

Although she's kept under the radar most of the time she's managed to attract the attention of four very hot males (for various reasons).
With this in mind I'd definitely class this as an adult read. It kept me interested from start to finish and frustrated me with a cliffhanger! Plus side that means there's more to come so I'll let Jayce Carter off haha!

Ok i am going to say i really enjoyed this western. I thought it had the right amout of action in this western.
A great story from the point of view Tonto (Johnny Depp) on how him and John Reid, the Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer) met.

Now the down fault of this movie is that it was under the Disney Flag. If they held off till they had another studio (FOX) and put it out under that studio flag it would have done better. Just seem to violent for a disney movie and alot of adult hummor. Now if they ever plan to remake it again under Disney i would tie in Thunder Mountain and less blood.
