I like this album for it's more simplistic approach and much prefer the early sound of Coldplay. (1 more)
There are some musically brilliant tracks and for a debut, classy .
Coldplay's debut, 17 years ago! Yes they really have been kicking around that long!

The girls continue to bring you pop songs, for everybody. (1 more)
It has the lot, ballads, big pop tunes with themes from breaking up and then the preverbal make up tracks. All in all, a chart orientated pop album.
Pure popness from this quartet.

Ross (3284 KP) rated Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in Music
Jun 15, 2020
Rolling Stone's 147th greatest album of all time
I've listened to any number of different combinations of these guys in other bands or together. This is by far the best so far, with Neil Young really complementing the steadier style of the others.

Ross (3284 KP) rated Bitches Brew by Miles Davis in Music
Jun 29, 2020
Rolling Stone's 95th greatest album of all time
I am no jazz fan, but Davis could possibly change my mind on that. Not too "free-form", just enough structure to be listenable but still incredibly complex at times. A really good listen.
