I am no jazz fan, but Davis could possibly change my mind on that. Not too "free-form", just enough structure to be listenable but still incredibly complex at times. A really good listen.

"Roger Miller is hilarious. But this is his slowed-down, self-actualized album. He's confronting himself in these songs, pulling back the curtain and saying, 'I'm sincere and genuine, even if I'm laughing and having a good time.' I can relate to that"

"David Bazan is possibly THE most underrated songwriter of our time. Dive deep into anything he is involved with. This is off his latest release, Phoenix, that begins a multiple album reflection on his life through the lens of the places he’s lived."

Catchy and quick
Julian pulls it out the bag again for what people might come to say is the worst Strokes album ever. Not going to lie, I think it’s fab. Think if the beatles went on a modern indie disco adventure.

Cut and Run is my favourite tune. It really is a solid track. The rest of the album isn't really how I like Slaves. As much as it a deeper exploration into lyrics and emotions, it's not my style. Still, rate this though!

Rolling Stone's 302nd greatest album of all time
Superb hip hop from Chuck D et al. Such strong socio-political statements that can't be ignored (though lets face it, they largely were for quite some time) layered on brilliant sampling and mixing.
