MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Rainbow by Kesha in Music
Aug 24, 2017
Instead of dwelling on what isn’t said on the record, she chooses to use her experiences to find the strength to move on. And so we get the most authentic Kesha album yet, and it’s a triumph

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Villains by Queens Of The Stone Age in Music
Sep 11, 2017
Although you can’t fault the band’s ambition, these more grandiose moments do veer into self-indulgence, sometimes resembling a jam session that’s got out of hand. But a lack of self-editing is the only real flaw on an album

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Happy Endings by Old Dominion in Music
Sep 11, 2017
The music is smarter and hotter than the lyrics on Happy Endings, though the latter have the odd genius metaphor, too. Even as an anthropological exercise in redneck seduction, this is a fascinating album — maybe not brilliant, but fascinating

Anna Steele (111 KP) rated Dirty Computer by Janelle Monae in Music
May 16, 2018
Emotion Picture and amazing album
I played a few songs for my sister the other day and she was so surprised hay I would listen to music like this. It’s not just an African American Female rapper, Monae is an LGBTQ icon and a feminist stronghold. My favorite song is Django Jane for its impressive wordplay.

A rare perfect album
Just a great piece of music. Cohesive yet never boring or repetitive. If I was forced to pick a weak link, it would be that "Corpus Christie Carrol" can be jarring on the first few listens. However in context it's as stunning as any of the other tracks.

Straight Fire - still topical - still needed
This album is straight fire and despite its age, it’s amazingly relevant today. Much love!
Joni Thomas (33 KP) rated Reputation by Taylor Swift in Music
Aug 16, 2018
I've been a Taylor fan for over 10 years. Reputation was highly anticipated and it did not disappoint. She stays with her usual song writing style. Basing her music off of her experiences in life the album gives insight into her disappearance from the public eye and her new relationship, which she has been extremely private about.

Jerusalem and Dopesmoker are two versions of the third album by the American heavy metal band Sleep....
Ross (3284 KP) rated 40 Greatest Hits by Hank Williams in Music
Jun 29, 2020
Rolling Stone's 94th greatest album of all time
I don't like country and find Hank Williams to epitomise the genre for me. Lots of that awful yodelling they sometimes do, that just reminds me of that viral video of the child of the corn in a walmart yodelling in his wellies for all the gramdmas. *shivers*
