"I would say the fourth one is Fast Times At Ridegmont High, which is like a really different version of the same thing at the same time. And you know it’s Cameron Crowe again, with Amy Heckerling, who’s amazing. I remember seeing that and it was kind of like gritty and so real. I think I saw it for the first time 10 or 15 years after it first came out, and it still was shocking and interesting. And we wanted to make sure that we had, in our film, real drug use — and the drug of the day was cocaine — and real boobs. We really wanted to go there. That’s something that I really admire in Fast Times At Ridgemont High. It’s hilarious, it’s not scared to go there and it doesn’t pull any punches. And the character work is so amazing."

"The first movie that I ever said was my favorite movie and I’ve said for the longest is The Producers, Mel Brooks’ original Producers. The two lead performances from Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder are both unstoppable performances and then supported by amazing supporting characters throughout. I love the premise of the movie, I love the pacing of that — the opening scene in the office which also serves as the credit sequence is so funny and just such an amazing one — when Gene Wilder walks in and discovers Zero Mostel with one of his little old ladies who wants to do role-play with him, then getting caught by Zero Mostel snooping, then being brought in and negotiating through his various tax schemes… To me, it’s a great premise for a story and it’s so funny."

I love Melissa McCarthy, and she was amazing in this. I hadn't laughed this much in ages, it felt good for my soul. Everyone in the screen was laughing, and sometimes that's just what you need.

Eighties throwback and some truly amazing outfits. You'll end up wanting to join in during the dance off. And if you find yourself not wanting to, then you're probably too young to appreciate that.

There's so much fun in here that, spoiler alert, a bit further down the page I went to see it again. A genuine feel good film, and it definitely made me want to bust out some retro moves. I will also be adding "vagoogle" to my vocabulary.
