Erika (17789 KP) rated Legion - Season 1 in TV
Dec 10, 2017
First things first, Aubrey Plaza was amazing. Then you through in Dan Stevens and Jemaine Clement? I loved it. I haven't really been able to get into Marvel TV properties, aside from Agent Carter. But, I couldn't resist Legion/David Haller. The visuals were psychedelic, and I really dug the aesthetic.
I wish the season was longer, and I really want the second season to air already, after that cliffhanger.

Spellbinding
This book was amazing!! Throughout the entire book, I was kept guessing, and I kept wondering how it was going to end. The transitions between history and present were obvious, making it easier to read, and the twists kept coming! Unfortunately, I discovered who the murderer was quite easily, but that didn't stop me from reading it!! I loved this book, and you should totally read it!!

Great animation (2 more)
The short story before the film is technically amazing
Good fun and humour for all ages
Fish this one out
It's been an age since Finding Nemo, so it's great to see some of the characters again. The detail in the animation is great. It has some funny new characters especially the Octopus. If you like the original, who doesn't? You'll like this.

John Green touched me with his words (1 more)
Unreliable writer , I would never expect that turn in the end
Highly recommend
John Green uses the words and the literature in a certain way, which makes you think and stops you to put the book down. His sentences are just simply amazing. The story, the emotions, the actions are unpredictable and beautiful. I highly recommend it with a box of tissue.

Oprah's role in season two shows her amazing acting ability as she succumbs to her inner demons (1 more)
Every episode leaves you wanting more
The second season is even better than the first!
Season two drew me in just like season one. Each episode was better than the last and the season finale ends with a horrible confrontation that makes you wish they would hurry up and get season three started!

Woody Harrelson's Bad Guy
Emotional end to the Trilogy
A magnificent film, a thinking mans action film.
Harrelson and Serkis performances are amazing, it continues to be a shame that Serkis doesn't get any Oscar nods for his work here.
The plot moves along at what feels like a breezy pace, a step up from the previous films which felt a little plodding.

The casting
Great
I am a massive fan of the films and most Marvel films. I loved this film it had me laughing nearly through-out. The music fits the film perfectly, baby Groots dancing is great. It is a great film but it did feel slow in places, still the the film on a whole is great.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Solitaire in Books
Jan 12, 2018
[Solitaire] is one of those books that came across my feed as "We Think You Might Like". It was compared to John Green and Rainbow Rowell. I will agree with that but British, definately British. It has lots of unexpected twists and turns and is written so well you get through the book in no time. The fact that I was kept guessing until almost the end was amazing.
