Ashley Catron (66 KP) rated The Master Undone (Inside Out, #3.3) in Books
Mar 14, 2018
"Master Undone", by the amazing Lisa Renee Jones, leaves the reader feeling undone as well. You as the reader finally get a look into Mark's head, if only for a moment, and it makes you crave more from him. Mark is the guy everyone loves to hate, but in this novella, you find yourself finally being able to relate to him a little bit and see why he craves control.

Ashley Catron (66 KP) rated Rebecca's Lost Journals, Volume 1: The Seduction (Inside Out, #1.1) in Books
Mar 14, 2018
While the "Lost Journals" are not needed to read the "Inside Out" series, they definitely add more depth and knowledge to everything that is going on in the series. It expands on Rebecca's relationship with Mark, the world he lives in, and her feelings for him and this world that he wants her to be a part of. It is amazing and something I was not able to put down easily.

I can't write a full review for this because there are no words that can praise this book high enough for it's amazing story.
I read this as part of a school project and I was engrossed from page one. As cliche as this sounds, this is my all time favourite book - the book I would choose if I could only read one book for the rest of my life.

A real page turner! I've had this book for awhile and having read White Crow by Marcus Sedgwick and loving it, I decided to give Midwinterblood a go.
What am amazing book!! I finished it in less than 24 hours! It's like reading a bunch of short stories that are part of one big story.
I'd definitely recommend this book as it's definitely one of my now faves =)

The Onion - everything they do (1 more)
Great story that pokes just the right amount of fun at another podcast
I would give it a 10 had there been more episodes - lol
Such a fun podcast. The Onion did a great job of skewering the murder investigation podcast. Great humor, very tongue-in-cheek and like the best of The Onion - humor taken to the extreme.

What a climax

This one took me a while to read if I'm honest, into the second quarter I found myself struggling to continue and I did stop reading it entirely for a while. However I persisted and boy am I glad I did.

Another amazing first read win! The note that came with the book said for ages 14-18 but it was such a real and moving story that I would recommend it to anyone. I felt Kai's pain, chuckled at some parts, and cried a couple times as well. Loss impacts everyone's lives at some point or another and this book shows how life can go on after loss.

Emotional!

I binge watched the tv series and thought it was epic. Really hits you in the feels.
So, naturally I had to read the book as well and compare the two. They’re both amazing, as always the books better but that’s just my opinion.
The story about the tapes and what happened in the run up to the girls suicide really being up a variety of emotions.

This book is simply amazing. J.R. Ward really knows how to create a series with characters that you will love. Zsadist is by far one of my favorite characters. His brokenness is beautiful in his on twisted way.
I am glad that I reread this book. It really is so beautiful and heart wrenching. I cried, I laughed, and I wanted to scream. Do yourself a favor and read this series.

Gisell Middleton (189 KP) rated The Girl From Home in Books

This book is amazing! I found myself captivated from the very first page and wanting more. I enjoyed the dual narration, mostly because it was seamless and not announced. The time jumps made for an interesting contrast in the main character's situation and personality evolution and having that only halfway through the book kept it fresh and not confusing. One of the better books I've read in a long time!
