Hmm...

I liked certain parts of this and others kinda bored me.

Rudy was hard work and sometimes I thought he was really sweet and others he annoyed me a little, though I know that's a lot unfair. It isn't his fault after all. I really feel for Ellis in this too.

Jon was amazing for both of them and likewise Ellis was Jon's salvation.

That being said I'm not sure if I want to continue this series.

1994 | Action, Animation, Drama

"The Lion King, which is surprising. However, growing up, that movie was so seminal to my childhood. I watched it again when it was rereleased a couple months ago in 3D in theaters, and that movie holds up. It’s an amazing movie, and it came out in 1994 or whatever it was. Just for me, there were so many morals in that movie that had been a part of my life since I was a little kid."

"In England, it was always presumed that it was written about the space landing, because it kind of came to prominence around the same time. But it actually wasn’t. It was written because of going to see the film 2001, which I found amazing. I was out of my gourd anyway, I was very stoned when I went to see it, several times, and it was really a revelation to me. It got the song flowing."

"You can put the Grey Gardens documentary in there. That’s pretty amazing. You know, Mike Sucsy is a friend of ours and I think he did such an extraordinary job in remaking that movie. I thought it was great, and so colorful and fun, you know, to watch Drew Barrymore really stretch herself, and Jessica Lange again. She’s just incredible. But Grey Gardens really is a great documentary. I love watching documentaries. Slice of life, you know?"

"The second one is Bicycle Thieves, by De Sica. That was the most moving film I’ve ever seen. The scene in there where the dad has lost his bicycle and he takes his kid out for a pizza in 1948 Rome, and the kid is eating it but he’s not ’cause he can’t afford to pay for it, is one of the all-time most moving scenes I’ve ever seen in a cinema. It’s an amazing film."

"I can’t get enough of this film, and it is so cleanly presented here that the famously malcontented Godard himself must be proud of the results. The great film about film, this disc is perfect, from the amazing cover art to the short documentaries that show the difficulties of shooting a film with an icon like Bardot in tow. And if you aren’t swept away by the Georges Delerue score, you really need to check your pulse."

"Perhaps the noirest of noir films, and for my money one of the three best American films of the postwar period (the others being Some Like It Hot and Sunset Boulevard). Featuring amazing performances from Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis, and a knife-edge bitterness rare in any Hollywood film, it is at once a tribute to nighttime New York City and a devastating portrait of the power of a big-time columnist like Walter Winchell."

Oh dear. How did I forget to put a link to my review of this amazing book up here? Sorry, I'll fix this now. http://tcl-bookreviews.com/2020/07/17/blue-the-most-human-color/

What a story! I am now convinced that Jojo Moyes stole from this book to write her "Giver of Stars" novel, and therefore I will NEVER read anything by Moyes, and I even refuse to watch any movies made of her books.

As with a lot of marvel late, it is very long and a bit too much filler. (0 more)
An epic saga nears an end.
This was almost the perfect way to start the end of the epic saga that the marvel cinematic universe has been thus far. A little too much fill and a couple of plot holes but overall this was an amazing film and well worth the wait.

A Classic Yet Different Zombie Apocalypse
This is my second time watching this season and I enjoyed it just as much now as I did then. The whole show is lined up perfectly and every introduction to new characters is placed out perfectly. The zombies are intense and send a shiver down my spine with every encounter. This is not your average zombie apocalypse.
