Omg...the ending aaaa the ending...I can't wait to read the next one...I almost threw my kindle against the wall at the ending. The beginning was slow but then it picked up and it caught me and I was hooked. Some of the words are different for me...but I understood them fine. I am excited to see what happens. The plots and twists were amazing and unexpected. I was thinking one way and it went opposite. Lol loved it

ArecRain (8 KP) rated A Fashionable Indulgence (Society of Gentlemen, #1) in Books
Jan 18, 2018
This was my first time reading a novel like this but it is certainly not my last. I cannot think of a single thing missing or should be added. I love historical romance and wanted to try an MM romance. I found that I enjoyed it much more than usual romance because the couple was not dealing with the same old problems you read about in every historical romance. It was something fresh and new, with an amazing lead couple.

Story of how Walt Disney got Mary poppins made. It not on that story but goes into why travers didn't want the book made into a movie and why she was so protective over the Mary poppins character. This story not only goes into the making of the classic movie but into travers childhood. Not what I expected but very well made . Also Tom hanks was amazing as Walt Disney at times I literally thought it was Walt on screen

Fruit Bat (42 KP) rated Bodysnatchers: Digging Up the Untold Stories of Britain S Resurrection Men in Books
Mar 1, 2018
Bodysnatchers' by Suzie Lennox and it's turning into one of these books I just can't put down. It's amazing reading about the lengths these men and women went to, to obtain bodies. As I continue to read through the book I have become totally amazed by how business like the  whole affair was.The book was well written and highly researched which can be seen throughout.
The book deserves a five star rating and I will definitely be reading more of the author's books

The story of Daniel, a teen at the time of Christ who is consumed by his hatred of the Romans. But as he cares for his sister and encounters Jesus, will his life change? I loved this book when I read it in 8th grade, and every time I read it, I'm pulled in all over again. Amazing and powerful.

Kristy H (1252 KP) rated A Girl in Parts in Books
Feb 13, 2018
A very lovely coming of age story, centering on Dottie, a child of divorced parents. The story is told in a series of nearly 100 vignettes, each of which is filled with wit and vulnerability. During the course of the novel, Dottie struggles with moving, poverty, an alcoholic stepfather, questioning her sexuality, race relations, playing sports, and her relationship with her mother, half-brother, and stepsister. Her character exhibits amazing grace and presence of mind as she continually questions the world around her.

Over all story line (3 more)
CGI s attention to detail
James Corden
Slapstick Comedy
A must see family film
Dont get me wrong, its possible that it may not win many awards. As a family film is very enjoyable for both kids and adults. The attention to detail was amazing and some of the one liners had both kids and adults laughing together. For adults one big problem may arise, your kids may want rabbits as pets now ?

Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Texas Hold 'Em in Books
Feb 13, 2018
You can almost taste the Texas/Mexican dust in your mouth and the heat of the sun on your back. A good read, the action starts just about at the beginning and continues throughout. If anything I would have wanted a bit more description between Santo and Rose as i still can't picture what the look like in my head. All in all a great start to what i hope will be and amazing series that I will continue reading.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated The Amnesia Project in Books

This is a very scary story givin the time we live in. I had trouble reading it because I was so angry. Winkes did an amazing job developing characters that you both love and hate. She captured the uncertainty and angst that seems to be prevelant in our current time to only channel it to a more productive route. It was the "Handmaid's Tale" and "Stepford Wives" combined with a scary Trumpian veiw. We must NEVER let anything get like this.
