Absolute must read - so funny!
What a great book. So refreshing to read something so different, so out there. In the world of political correctness this is definitely going to upset quite a few snow flakes. But if you are old school and you have a great sense of humour, this will definitely be your cup of tea. Very "Guy Ritchie" like. Highly recommend it.

"If Becky wasn't a gay teenage boy with good grammar and a foul mouth in several past lives, then she's absolutely one of the most observant writers in the YA game. New Review (June 2017): Just finished my third or fourth reread of SIMON VS., this time on audio which is narrated by the amazing Michael Crouch, and wow, I love this book more each time. I'm 27 right now and SIMON remains the book I wish I had 10 years ago."

"This is not just because the movie has an ampersand in it like Amira & Sam. Even still, an off-color romantic comedy — it’s a comedy, but off-color because of the older woman and a younger man. It’s still something that movie artists don’t touch on and it’s not an impossible scenario. It’s one of those things that is difficult to get right, and Hal Ashby told such an amazing story of friendship and caring and love and fun and life."

Been waiting for this one for a while and I wasn't disappointed.

Regin has always been a fun character, if a little unorthodox, and I enjoyed reading about her and Aidan's past. I have to admit I was a little upset reading various bits in this story because I was really wanting them to get together and everytime she got hurt, I wanted to scream at Aidan/Chase.

In my opinion that makes it an amazing story therefore 5 fabulous stars!

"Fight Club. That was one of those movies I saw a long time ago, way before I should have seen it, and the acting and the story in that blew my mind. That is probably one of the bigger movies that made me want to be a good actor. The characters are amazing and the story is so cerebral and hard to follow; it’s really a thinker that really kind of got me super interested in that kind of movie."

"I also read a book recently called Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She's phenomenal, and she's written so many beautiful books. Purple Hibiscus was also quite moving, about a family - a daughter, and a brother, a mother and a father - and these deep, intricate details of their life and the complexities of it all. You find yourself falling in love with this family and really being taken on their journey, their heartbreak, and their secrets - it is a beautiful and amazing read."

"I am trying to choose works that cover as much ground as possible and are diverse… I’ve heard amazing things about this book from a person that I trust… The musical is currently on Broadway (starring Cynthia Erivo, Jennifer Hudson and Danielle Brooks) and a film was made of the book in 1985 by Steven Spielberg. It was Oprah Winfrey’s film debut and introduced Whoopi Goldberg (I love both of these women). I’m excited to read it and maybe do some watching too."

"Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie both look amazing in this film. It’s also a brilliant document of Venice in the early ’70s. It’s a stunning-looking film. And interestingly, Geoff’s father-in-law was the main cameraman! The scene at the top of the bell tower in St. Mark’s Square, where Donald Sutherland’s legs are dangling—they’re Geoff’s father-in-law’s legs! I don’t think Donald fancied the climb?!! It’s also the best horror ending ever, without a doubt. —Billy Fuller"

"I wrote a grad school research paper on Cassavetes. I was so intoxicated by his approach and filmmaking philosophy that I got lost in in my research and turned the paper in six months late. Fortunately, I still passed my class. There are so many amazing moments in this film, but I don’t think I’ll ever forget watching the spaghetti scene for the first time. It’s disorienting, human, and absolutely riveting. Cassavetes reminds us that people are impulsive, generous, complicated, self-conscious beings."
