I love the Jack Ryan series, and it has continued with his son of the same name. Obviously, this series on Amazon Prime is about Jack Ryan, the son, just starting out in the CIA. The series has a lot of action and the suspense that we've become accustomed to in films based on Tom Clancy's novels. I enjoyed the entire series, but don't think it was quite up to where his father would have been, if that makes sense. I look forward to season two, as his career moves forward.

Just checking in to see how everyone is getting on with this whole coronavirus mess? How're things in your local area?

Cinemas closed here as of tomorrow, theatres shut yesterday (was meant to be seeing Back to the Future musical tonight & I'm devastated I'm missing out! šŸ˜© ) and I'm working from home for the foreseeable future. The only plus side to all this means I might be able to catch up on all the books, films and tv shows on Netflix & Amazon, and not to mention the DIY & gardening...

In NY, schools are all closed, most restaurants only do drive thru. Everyone has gone crazy. The only places open are grocery stores and most are out of toilet paper and cleaning supplies.

No toilet paper, soap, rice, pasta, bread, eggs the list goes on here in the U.K. and one report I saw said they couldn't get cat food!!

I can't believe it just ended like that! Of course I now need to go and buy the second one!

It took me a while to get into the story but once it got going I kinda devoured it. I liked the whole Captain Hook isn't so bad and the plotline about him and Peter Pan. I also liked the romance aspect and really want to know what's going to happen next with this note that's been left!

Ugh! Off to hunt it out on Amazon!
