Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Summer Heat in Books
Sep 3, 2019
Oh dear...that ending...I'm wincing on behalf of both of them.
So this is my fifteenth book by the author, I think, and I've enjoyed all of them. This one was on the shorter side in length and a quick easy ready, but that didn't mean it didn't make me want the characters to get together and have their HAE.
Of course, though, it's a trilogy and I'll have to go and buy book 2 and 3 to see how Marlo and Ray get over that little revelation that's just been spilled in that shower stall.
One thing I will say, Rachel knows how to write male characters POV's. Most of the books I read tend to be in female POV's but Rachel always seems to write both and sometimes it's really great to see how the male characters are feeling in romances and I always tend to fall for them, too.
So, as mentioned before, I will definitely be off to Amazon in a little while to see about purchasing the rest of the Cruel Summer trilogy so I can finish this series after that intriguing start.
UPDATE: I can't find the rest of the series on Amazon! What am I going to do?!

ClareR (6106 KP) rated Wayne's World (1992) in Movies

I haven’t watched this in quite a while, and as last night was ‘Family Film Night’, and this was free on amazon prime, I thought we might as well watch it.
My 11 and 13 year olds thought it was hilarious. Honestly, I thought it was very funny too. It never gets old. And the Bohemian Rhapsody bit has to be one of my favourite parts in a film (like, ever!).
I don’t know whether this would get made now, but I’m glad it was made then! The whole ‘Shwing’ bit went down VERY well with my young teenaged/ pre-teen boys. Unsurprisingly!

Great for Reading on iPad or iPhone
I really love the Kindle App. I love how it automatically sends my books right from the Amazon website an dhow it connects with Good reads. Its easy to use and the options are great- page flip, colors, font sizes and choices aplenty. It seems to have a weird glitch though the pages don't typically work 1,2,3.... they always have a random "location number like 380 of 5265 and it goes up by 10 every time I flip the page.

Little Ray Of Sunshine (41 KP) rated Sprinkle of Glitter 2016 Diary: Have the Best Year of Your Life! in Books
Jan 11, 2019
This is a diary from the Youtuber Sprinkle of Glitter but she now changed her Youtube name to Louise Pentland. Wow when I bought this from Amazon ready for 2016 I was happy with the quality of the diary. Each page as such beautiful illustration. I have looked in the diary but aint dare write in it. I won't be purchasing 2017 as this year I have notice I aint been dipping into my diary as much as I was in 2015. But wow you should be proud Louise for doing this diary for all your viewers.
David McK (3728 KP) rated Jeeves and the Yule-tide Spirit in Books

Short free-to-download (form Amazon) Jeeves story, in which Bertie Wooster is off to Skelding Hall to stay with Lady Wickham and her daughter Bobbie, the latest of Wooster's desires in a change of plans from their intended visit to Monte Carlo
Also staying are Roderick and Tuppy Glossop, leading Bertie to (attempt to) get his own back on Tuppy for a previous slight, with his (or Bobbie's) plan involving a hot water bottle and a darning needle ...
Needless to say, things go wrong once again, and Jeeves ends up both saving the day and the trip to Monte Carlo ...
