Making Trekkies Cooler Since 2009
I love this film, i have never been into star trek or watched anything of it.
But with this film i can watch it all day, it leaves you wanting more. An animated series with the voice actors, a game with these people as an RPG.
Both me & my wife love to sit and watch this

Erika (17789 KP) rated Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) in Movies
Aug 24, 2017
A New Hope is the first movie I remember watching that wasn't animated. It was the first video tape my parents ever bought. It's my favorite out of all of the Star Wars films, and a great introduction to the world of Star Wars. It's got everything: Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin, young, attractive Harrison Ford, and bad ass Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.

Haley Mathiot (9 KP) rated The Soddit: Or, Let's Cash in Again in Books
Apr 27, 2018
This was a fast funny read. I've read The Hobbit and seen the movie (the old animated one!) and I love the story... and the silliness of The Soddit was delightful.
The reader was fabulous, though a bit abrasive, and at times I couldn't quite understand what words were being said because of a thick accent or voice, but it was all together enjoyable.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Monsters, Inc. (2001) in Movies
Mar 11, 2018 (Updated Mar 11, 2018)
Monsters, Inc. is the last animated Disney movie that I liked. The voice actors are all great, and it is actually funny. I wish this movie had come around when I was a small child so it could have relieved the terror of the monsters in the closet or under the bed. The jokes were actually funny, and I can watch it over and over again.

Dean (6927 KP) rated Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2006) in Movies
Sep 11, 2018
A surprisingly good part animated comedy based on the Garfield comic strip. I liked this one more than the first one. This has plenty of other animals being voiced over by a range of well known actors including Bob Hoskins as a British bulldog and Vinnie Jones as a rottweiler, what else? With Bill Murray voicing Garfield. Perfect for kids and older fans of Garfield.

The Craggus (360 KP) rated Smallfoot (2018) in Movies
Oct 14, 2018
As the sole animated offering heading into half term, Smallfoot (2018) has some big shoes to fill. #Review
For my money, the definitive filmed adaptation of the legendary Yeti is The Goodies’ episode “Big Foot” but this tale of a tribe of Yetis living in secret on a Himalyan mountaintop might just come a close second (Wampas don’t count)...
