This film had me hooked. The title engaged me straight away. Anne Hathaway is amazing and simply made the film a whole lot better in my opionion! Add it to your watch list if you haven't seen it before and if you have, grab some snacks and watch it again!

Similar to its predecessors, Ocean’s 8 is a subtle heist that communicates more in montages and facial expressions than in intense dialogue. It moves at a steady pace with an ending I didn’t see coming. The best part is admiring the talented actresses.

When I first heard they were making a gender-flipped version of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," I feared that it could be misogynistic based on the end of the English language remake of the French original. The Frank Oz-directed "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" is a classic comedy with a original twist. This female-centric remake is rarely funny and inoffensive. Anne Hathaway gets to practice three of her Meryl Streep accents. Rebel Wilson plays the uncouth low level con artist piggishly. When the two met on a train to St Tropez where Anne runs elaborate cons on rich tourists, Anne is not threatened but she realizes Rebel could ruin her trade. So she continuously schemes ways to rid herself of the slouch. The whole movie could have ended if Rebel just found a real policeman and unmasked Anne, but that would not make great cinema so we are stuck with this stinker.

"How about a comedy? The Devil Wears Prada. I love that film. I love Meryl Streep, along with the rest of the world. She’s the bad guy in this film, so to watch Meryl play a bad guy with all of the layering and the subtlety, still you love her in the end. It’s just wonderful. I love the couple of speeches in there ? Stanley Tucci has a couple of speeches in there, one of which is to Anne Hathaway. Anne comes in to him and tells him, couldn’t she be given credit for trying? And he goes off on her about the value of trying and whether, in fact, she does deserve credit for trying. Great, great speech. Then the other speech I love is the one about the blue sweater, where Anne Hathaway thinks she’s underplaying her fashion sense by wearing sort of nondescript, underplayed, like she?s not going to be one of these fashionistas, and Meryl Streep goes off on her about how many hours were put in by designers crafting the kind of underplayed, nondescript look that often people are… they try to represent themselves by looking like they don’t care about how they look, and they just kind of throw something together. She goes off about this blue sweater that Anne Hathaway’s wearing, and I just thought that was brilliant, and in the mouth of Meryl Streep, it was even more on the mark."

Big screen remake of an old 60s TV series, that was actually better than I was expecting!

Starring Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Terence Stamsp (with support from the likes of Terry Crews, and a cameo from Bill Murray), this was more deadpan than I (vaguely) remember (I wasn't around in the 60s, and only caught a few episodes on repeat), although I did pick up on a few of the call backs in the movie to said series.

Anne Hathaway's accent. (2 more)
Just another hustle film, not really any different from others out there.
The story isn't really that good. Doesn't have that "I Cant stop watching" kind of feeling.
Some bits were really funny but these bits didn't help you forget the story is actually quite dull, the accent Anne Hathaway does is cringeworthy. It is also a film that Rebel Wilson is pretty much the same character she is in every. Other. Film. I love her as an actress but this doesn't really let her show her talent. A good actor or actress can make you feel like the character they are playing is real but i could see rebel the entire film.

I really enjoyed this female Heist film with many talented actress' .
Not much of a Rhianna fan so her being shown wasn't as annoying .

I am major fans of Cate Blanchett , Sandra Bullock & Anne Hathaway ..

I felt they really needed to get more into the Heist it kind of wraps up too early in my opinion so much more could have been explored !

** Spoiler TEASER

I especially liked how we find out Sandra Bullock's connection from a key player in her past too ..

A brilliant film and great ending....for now at least to this trilogy. Dark, gritty and brutal it doesn't feel like a comic book action hero film. It's more a harsh crime thriller! I thought Anne Hathaway was well cast as Catwoman as is Tom Hardy as Bane. The only problem I had was understanding everything Bane said through his face mask, at times the voice doesn't seem to match the villain? Only small minor gripes though, still I have to add The Dark Knight is still my favourite of the 3 with this a close second.

Aw, I watched this in the cinema yesterday and was quite disappointed. I wasn't bored, I sat and watched like a good girl and was entertained enough not to yawn but this was not the funny romp I thought it would be. I love Sandra Bullock, I think she has great comedic timing but this film didn't give her any good lines, I smiled only a couple of times throughout the whole film. The cast should have been inspiring but they were all pretty bland and insipid, Anne Hathaway by far had the best part in this film and surprisingly outshone the others.
