That's Not an Elvis Tribute Artist. That's a Corpse!
Liv, Di, and much of Liv's family is heading to Vegas for Liv's mother's wedding to Earl. They are excited to meet up with Liv's cousin, Little Junior, who is trying to become an Elvis impersonator, but in the meantime is driving a cab in the city. The wedding is supposed to take place in the Burning Love Wedding Chapel, but before the bride and groom can even get to "I Do," the Elvis impersonator who is supposed to be marrying them drops dead. When the police decide it was murder, they begin looking at Liv's cousin as the killer. Even though Liv is far from home, can she still figure out who the killer really is?

I have found the pacing in the series to be off, and this book continues the trend as the murder comes late in the book. We get some set up before that happens, but there is plenty of time spent with some sub-plots early in the book as well. The mystery, when it starts, is strong, providing some fun suspects and surprises before we reach the logical ending. The sub-plots partially allow us to check in with folks back in Dixie, Tennessee, so I'm not complaining too much. Having said that, the sub plot involving Liv's best friend Di and her boyfriend drove me crazy since both of them were behaving stupidly. This book is best for fans of the series since they will fully appreciate some of what happens here. And they will really enjoy this trip.

Also, the likable tune follows CADE’s “Strip Club” single featuring Lil Aaron.

‘Home to You’ highlights why CADE is one of the most in-demand artists in the United States.

So far, he has achieved over half a billion streams via Spotify alone, with a sound which fluctuates between future R&B and dance.

Also, he has amassed over 4.5M monthly Spotify listeners and continues to widen his fanbase by supporting artists such as Cheat Codes, Jeremih, Ke$ha, and Mike Posner.

Desiigner rose to prominence in 2016 after the release of his debut single, entitled, “Panda”, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100.

Later that same year, Kanye West sampled “Panda” for his seventh album, entitled, “The Life of Pablo”.

I really enjoyed Fake Like Me by Barbara Bourland. It’s told from the point of view of a nameless artist who is struggling to live and produce the art that she wants to make. Just as she’s building up to a huge show, her loft burns down containing all of the art she’s going to show. She tells the gallery and her agent that they are undamaged. She manages to secure studio space in Pine City where her art hero, Carey Logan lived and worked prior to her suicide.
I loved how the narrator was so passionate about her work; there are loads of descriptions of paints, colours, methods and textures. If like me, you know nothing about art, never fear! This is all about the mystery of what happened to Carey Logan. It’s also about loyalty, doing the things that you love and the sacrifices you will make to reach these ends. All of the artists in this story are passionate about their work. We also see that a lot of these people are already very privileged, and this is likely the reason why they are able to achieve so much in their careers - unlike the main protagonist who seems to have to fight and work really hard for everything she does.

I’d definitely recommend this book - I didn’t see the twist coming at all (I know that some people did), but maybe that’s because I enjoyed the journey of the story so much. Either way, it’s a really good read.
