This story continues to impress me; with some great humor, well paced action, and some genuine mystery added in for good measure, this volume is definitely all about later plots. While the first volume, Family Matters, set up the core characters for Invincible, this volume is clearly set up as starting points for future story lines, so while it doesn't actually seem like much happens here, it just makes me want to continue reading so I can see how all these plot threads play out. Cory Walker's art and Bill Crabtree's colors are top notch again; I really like the minimal line art and coloring. The inclusion of different artists working on the introduction of additional characters to the book was a nice touch too, helping each character stand out a little while having the briefest of introductions. On to the third volume!

The business card scene is the best!

Christian Bale is excellent as Patrick Bateman (Batman lol), a Wall Street executive with an extremely dark side, he is a cold-blooded murderer.

Much of the film sees Bateman juggling his two separate lives, and how has has to have everything just so, and loses it if everything doesn''t go his way. He really loves 80s music and explains the nuances of his favorite artists in way too much detail.

The ending is ambiguous, but that is all right here as it leaves you wondering what actually happened and what was in his mind and was he really just going crazy or dreaming.

Some very graphic scenes are not for the squeamish and I'll never like the song "Hip to be Square" the same way again.

I was going to start this by typing out the heavy-bass Terminator intro music, then realised I couldn't quite get it to sound right!

This is a collection of stories released early 90's, after Terminator 2 but before any of the newer entries in the franchise (T3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator: Salvation or Terminator: Genisys), so do show their age a bit.

They all also pretty much follow the same template - a group from the future sent back in time, with Terminator's following or already having been sent back, and then a protracted chase followed by a shoot-out - with the artwork varying between the differing authors/artists.

As a compilation, some of the stories are better than others: my pick for the best, probably, would be the story entitled 'One Shot', which seems to mirror the first film.
