The Sword of Destiny ( Witcher saga book 2)

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher, a man whose magic powers and lifelong training have made him a brilliant fighter and a merciless assassin. Yet he is no ordinary killer: he hunts the vile fiends that ravage the land and attack the innocent. But not everything monstrous-looking is evil; not everything fair is good . . . and in every fairy tale there is a grain of truth.

This was pretty average and what you’d expect from Gerald’s adventures. The last section The Sword of Destiny was more interesting as he’s meeting Ciri for the first time.
It was an ok read. Think it just lacked a little something for me.

Ninja Assassin (2009)
Ninja Assassin (2009)
2009 | Action, Drama
Blood Fest
Ninja Assassin is one of those movies that you forgot that came out because it was such a underrated jem. You forgot that James McTeigue directed it, who's that you say well... He directed "V For Vendetta" in 2005, a great film by the way. Than after this film he went on the directed "The Raven" in 2012, a decent film underrated as well. Than 2 more films that i havent seen. So why am I reviewing this film, well because its really a forgotten movie, same with "The Raven" which ill probley reviewing in the future, this one is just oh hey you remember that movie called "Ninja Assassin", not really/no/Ninja plus Assassins that sounds call would be someone's answer. Or Thats a cool title whats it about..

The Plot: Trained in methods of killing from an early age, Raizo (Rain) is a member of the secret clan of assassins known as the Ozunu. After the Ozunu kill his friend, however, Raizo breaks free from them and vanishes. Meanwhile, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) discovers a money trail linking the the group to murders. Raizo saves Mika from his former comrades and joins forces with her to bring down the Ozunu forever.

Sounds intresting right, because it is. The action, the violence, the gore, the blood. Plus also a actor name Rain is in it. Rain how cool is that name and also i forgot that Naomie Harris is in thia film. She is such a great actress that hardly no one talks about, she is such a underrated actress.

A fun and cool film to watch in my books.

American Assassin (2017)
American Assassin (2017)
2017 | Action, Thriller
Traumatic events affect people differently. Some avoid anything that resembles that moment or triggers memories of it. Others are impacted so deeply that they must take action. American Assassin, based on the Vince Flynn books, features Dylan O’Brien (Maze Runner) as Mitch Rapp who wants to avenge the killing of his girlfriend in a terrorist attack. Upon his attempt to track down the men responsible, he is recruited by the CIA to help them track down the perpetrator of several attacks on civilian and military targets.

The film is ambitious in its approach to entering the realm of spy thrillers. There is no real depth to the film or moments that make the audience truly invested in the characters onscreen. At times, the story feels rushed, repetitive, and confusing. The actions scenes, however, are engrossing and give the audience the sense of chaos that would be felt if they were a part of it. The most interesting aspect of the film is not the story, but Michael Keaton’s portrayal of Stan Hurley, who leads Rapp on their international quest to find a rogue agent and prevent a nuclear detonation. Keaton’s character seems to be a combination of some of his more iconic roles allowing for much more depth, connection to be made between him and the other characters, despite the lack of chemistry between them collectively.

American Assassin is a good action film for those looking for an escape in the theaters, but for those looking for something that will rival any of the Bourne films, or the James Bond series, they are going to be sorely disappointed.
