Informative but far too long
Listened on Audible.
While I loved the concept of raising awareness for dementia sufferers and how frustrating it can be to lose oneself, listening to this gave me a bit of a headache as it was far too long. This is definitely better as a book and not for Audible - you lose track of the Maud's meandering. And while it is based on the tragic circumstances of her sister's disappearance - I actually ended up losing focus over who she was actually talking about after a while. A good effort.

I listened to this on audible and I'm thinking I missed something in the listening. It just didn't grab me and I left it more confused than when I started. I'm willing to give it another chance and read the physical book.

I listened to this book on Audible and the narration was amazing. The story itself seemed to jump, but that appears to be by design. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, even when it was a bit difficult to listen to. Highly recommended.

Audible makes this a better book!
I found this to be a truly enjoyable experience with Audible on my side. I am an avid reader, but something about Finty's voice and her ability to paint characters with just tonality is mesmerizing.

This is a unique spin on the typical zombie apocalypse story, and I have to say it's done exceedingly well. I loved the idea of Melanie being raised as she was, and even though the end of the book could be predicted, the perspective of the child and the changes that some characters made caused me to be particularly thrilled with this book. Off to find the movie now!!

Steampunk vamp & werewolf fun
Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series is absolutely brilliant, and this is the first in the series, following the soulless protagonist Alexia Tarrabotti on her adventures with vampires and werewolves in Victorian Britain, with twists and turns aplenty.

I listened to this via Audible, and really enjoyed it... So I'd urge anyone to pick up these books (either physical, or audiobook), as it's extremely enjoyable.

The style of writing is excellent, and Carriger has a wicked sense of humour.

I now need to start the Finishing School series!

I listened to this book on Audible and it felt so much like I was just sitting next to the author and listening to her tell her tale. It was a wonderful story. I laughed and cried many times throughout the book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

"Whoever it was who said “There is only Louise Brooks” was right on. With those sad manga-heroine eyes and immaculate bob haircut, she’s become like Marilyn Monroe for nerds. This film is as full of dread and emotion as any modern-day thriller—and all without the benefit of, y’know, audible dialogue. Spectacular."

One of the first Audible books I listened to. Made short work of my commute and I was hooked after 5 minutes.

Amazing story concept of Bob Prime and his copies alwith their differing personalities, all set in the future with brilliant Star Trek, Simpsons and current pop culture references.

Impossible to put down

I listened to this book through Audible and I must say it was an excellent read. It really let you get to see what Bryan went through when he was growing up and it was written in such a relate-able that you can't help but smile. Listening to him talk about his failures, and his success was wonderful. Absolutely a fun read.

Audible has great, exclusive content. The app is trying to become better, the new car feature works a little better with bluetooth than it used to. I love that they have all of The Great Courses available. Even though the content is great, it's far too expensive. At least the app still gives you access to all of your purchased titles, even after you cancel your membership.
