Ridiculous story
I want a medal for reaching the end of this triple marathon of an audio book that I basically hated. This was a tale of the ridiculous, a kind of farce in the play-sense and something that lacked real meat to the story. I cannot even re-synopsis briefly, because the irritation is strong.

The characters were mostly annoying, the story line was ridiculous to the power of 10 and the pace went from boring plodding to high, over-the-top drama.

Narration was a bit of an issue when you have 9 povs and one narrator but that wasn't the reason for my dislike.

I have enjoyed this author before, so if this is your first time reading Liane Moriarty, give this one a miss and pick another.

This book was so enlightening and amazing! I'm planning to read it again to do the exercises more thoroughly. If you read it or should I say when you read it as it mentions in the book, you'll want to be ready for the exercises. I was laughing so hard and then there was serious deep thinking too. Also, I found myself nodding and agreeing with everything Felicia was saying.
Everything in this resonated very strongly with me and I just love it SO much!!! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. If you haven't checked this book out, then get on it so you don't miss out!
Thanks so much to Libro.fm and Simon & Schuster Audio for letting me listen and review this wonderful and empowering book.

GUYS. GUYS. GUYSSS. Fair warning.

This book. Is dark. Like really dark. It is not disturbing. It is just plain and downright darker than the pits of Hell and it can only get darker by the time the third book comes out.

Strangely, though, I really liked the sequel to The Young Elites – much better than the first one, though now I’m wondering if I would have liked it a lot more if I read the book rather than listening to the audio version. (I’ve always had a fondness for Adelina because helloooo. She is a villain. Villains are up my alley. The librarian spoke the truth.)

It makes you question the preconditions beliefs you hold with out knowing. It rips the glasses off your face and forces you to see a new paradigm. Audio book voice very soothing. (0 more)
Moments where it felt a little too over the top but worth it for the desired effect. Ending not at great a I was expecting but ch 9 thru 18 is just gold. (0 more)
A books from a century ago that still holds weight today
What a fantastic book. It's one of the classics that truly earns its title of being timeless. Written just about a century ago it still has weight today. It forces you to question your ethics and morals and leaves you questioning the world around you. I've read a few classics and this is by far my favorite.
