During the "reading" - i listened to the audiobook -, I was shocked, surprised, laughed, angered, and relieved. Towards the end I would sit in my car for an hour after reaching a destination to listen. Needless to say, I enjoyed this book.

At times I truly hated the main character. "Ani" was a complex woman with a complex past. I had a hard time understanding some of her decisions but ultimately, I liked her. Ani's mom, she needs a hard slap across the face!

I'm not good at mentally reading in Wil Wheaton's voice so I prefer the audio book. (0 more)
A little bit action and a whole lot of nostalgia
Very possible future society. Full story that ends with twists and turns, with a completely relatable protagonist. Wade's behavior and perspectives are realistic and attainable - he reminds me of my 18 year old in many ways. Also, if you do the audiobook, Wil Wheaton narrates, and he's a wonderful narrator.

I listened to the audiobook as I was driving to visit my friends. I actually really enjoyed this book. Lauren Oliver is great at creating a very vivid world and a creepy vibe.

The characters were not as well developed as some of her other books, but I still found them interesting.

The plot itself went along at a nice pace. It was quick but not so fast that you don't know what is happening.

Overall, it is a great read!

I couldnā€™t really get into this book, but Iā€™ll readily admit that memoirs and biographies are not my usual reading fare. I had listened to another autobiographical audiobook just before this one and thought Iā€™d enjoy this one just as much, but no luck.

Ther wer parts of this book that were funny (expected) and parts that were insightful (pleasantly surprising), but a lot that was just meh.

It would be good reading for anyone interested in the improve scene.

Unique stories
I am bias in regards to Peter S. Beagle, however, it is warranted. His stories are both timeless and changing. I am ridiculously happy with the story spook Joe Farrell is my hero. Each world different and unique. I would enjoy this as an audiobook, it seemed that most of his stories should be spoken. Whether to be redeemed in a fantasy world or playing stickball with a witch in NYC this fantasy collection has a little something for everyone.

Im not gonna lie. When I started this book I thought it was going to be disgustingly boring. I started off so slowly that I put it down for a while before deciding to listen to the audiobook for a long drive. I was riveted by the end of it. The ups, downs, and twists of this book had me laughing and my stomach in knots worrying about the main character. I would and have already begun recommending this book to my friends

I had this on audiobook and I just couldn't get into it. The narrators voices were putting me off throughout and I found myself glazing over the story and thinking of other things while listening to it, meaning I missed half the story really.

I really enjoyed the first 50% but after that I just couldn't get into it. I will buy it in paperback form in the future in order to finish it, but I cannot listen to it anymore.

This is one of those books I have been meaning to read for a while. It was a lot of fun to get some background on Carrie as well as tidbits on some of my other faves such as Debbie Reynolds, Mark Hamil, and Harrison Ford. The book is mostly about Carrieā€™s relationship with Harrison during the filming of the first film. I really liked hearing Carrie describe her life in the audiobook and it was fun that Billie Lourd also narrated some of the journal entries.

This book just never clicked for me, I listened to it via audiobook read by Humphrey Bower and maybe the unusual writing style linked to the world-building just didn't come across well to me. This could not, however, make up for the unappealing main character. His disdain for his own dog early on was never going to work for me.

I found the story repetitive although I suspect this will improve as a series I'm not sure I want on for the whole ride.
