While this book had a lot of interesting ideas about helping children with Autism, it seems to be a bit outdated for what I was looking for.

Fantastic
I haven't seen Series 1. In fact I didn't realise there had been a prior series, so I watched this in isolation and I was none the wiser! This stood as a series on it's own. Now, I have no personal experience of autism so I don't know whether the portrayal is accurate but I found it really interesting. At the beginning the parents seem to have a solid marriage and appear to be coping well with their son's autism but as the series progresses you find out that all is not as it seems and at least one of them is struggling. This series could have sugar coated the affect of autism on a family but it didn't and that is to it's credit.
All the characters are memorable and I loved how their lives intertwined.

I absolutely loved watching this story about a teenage lad with autism looking for a girlfriend. In fact I binge watched the whole of the first season in one sitting. You really fall in love with his family as they work together to support this wonderful young man achieve his goals. It is both funny and moving and gives you a real insight into the life of someone with autism. I reccomend it!

Excellent subtle portrayal by Ben Affleck, autism played well (0 more)

Autistic assassin, also an accountant

Excellent portrayal of autism, watch it a few times to pick up on it. A very good action adventure, fast paced, full of good scenes. A few clunky plot twists, but pretty obvious. Ben Affleck plays it well, either very well written or he researched autism, probably both. John Lithgow is great as usual. But as said clunky to bring the brothers together, as if the same contractor would coincidentally hire the same two estranged brothers, but it is obvious from early on. Yes an excellent action autistic assassination adventure, gets top marks for assonance. I highly recommend it.

This book carried a lot of interesting and valuable information. I don't think that I will go through as many extremes as she since my son is low on the Autism Spectrum, but I will look into the diet for sure.

Jamie, Nigella and Nigel are among the big names jostling for position on the crowded food bookshelves this autumn.

You can't help fall in love with these characters. Basically Tillman an Austin college proffesior devises a questionnaire to find the perfect girlfriend but will love be as clear cut as what he sees as his perfect partner or does love follow its own rulebook?

Good. Although a bit stereotypical
I watched this series is 3 sittings. I have a non verbal autistic nephew and I definitely saw many traits in the young protagonist, but not enough. I did enjoy it though. Funny, sad, witty, sharp.

I've been really interested in watching this, but was but off a little when I heard it had upset those on the spectrum. I think I might give it a shot though.
