"Quincy Jones' autobiography Q is very good. Because he's a master at music, he's one of our greatest composers and its good for him to have a book and tell the good ole days when he was with Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Sarah Vaughan and Ray Charles. The reason he got to work with so many people was because he was one of the few musicians around who could write out the arrangements. He was in everybody's session. He learned so much."

The premise of this book was to invent or create a diary written by Mary Pinchot, a woman who was apparently one of JFK's lovers, whose murder is unsolved to this day. Wolfe is a marvelous writer, and his prose is beautiful. However, I'm not sure that he carried it off completely. Do you believe
Someone bought me this and told me to read it, not sure of what to expect soI did. I loved it. My heart still aches for this women. What things to go through but as a medium and having that gift she must be close to spiritual enlightenment where you are meant to suffer. Brilliant autobiography but sadly further proof there are an enourmous amount of vile men out there.
