Going into this book I wasn't expecting much. I mean, how could a comedian write an intelligent non fiction book about romance? I know, I was that person that had a snap judgment on an author and I shouldn't have thought that.

This book was extremely interesting and the audiobook was HILARIOUS! I loved listening to Aziz Ansari read this book and describe the statistics that he gathered. The book was interesting and quite entertaining. He gathered a lot of information and was able to bring life into what could have been a dull psychology book.

Ultimately, if you're looking for an interesting and fun read, this is the book is for you. The statistics were never dull and it was fascinating to learn about other cultures and the differences between generations.

Interesting and funny
I had to do a double take when I first saw a recommendation to read this book - a factual non-fiction book written by a comedian isn't something you hear about every day. But it's actually a fun and hugely interesting read.

There's a great balance in this between facts, data and laughs, and there are some very clever insights in this into modern dating and romance. It was also interesting to read about dating in other foreign cities that I didn't know much about. Aziz is a relatively endearing author, coming across as rather friendly and inviting and you get the feeling that he really cares about the subject matter. There's a lot of truth in this book and whilst I don't think anything in this is massively groundbreaking, it's still an insightful and entertaining read.

If you enjoyed Ruben Fleischer’s debut feature Zombieland then you’re truly going to love this, and it will take you significantly less time than 30 minutes to realise it! Switching from the horror genre to a crime fueled escaped featuring two friends.

Nick (Eisenberg) and Chet (Aziz Ansari) who have practically destroyed each others lives but stayed friends for so long that to split now would seem futile.

That though is only a small part of the plot which centres around the pair needing to find $100,000 in less than a day or face the consequences of Nick being blown to bits!

Featuring a cast of talented actors lead by fans favourite Danny McBride who’s at his white trash talking best and he leads the plot to off his father in order to get his hands on the inheritance. Aided by quiet side kick and at times voice of reason Travis (Blades of Glory’s Nick Swardson) the pair share a number of hilarious conversations drifting from the task at hand.

There are certainly laughs a plenty, with the friendships of both parties strained to the max, but that makes for an all the more enjoyable ride. If you liked Pineapple Express then this will be right up your street.
