"When I was in college, first year, I saw it and I really hadn’t been exposed to a lot of European filmmakers. It’s such a ‘film’ film. It wasn’t required viewing, it was just a film playing on campus and I hadn’t been interested in film before then. Nowadays people are deciding to get into film at age five when they’re sitting, watching the Oscars. I really didn’t come out of that culture — I was pretty much a John Wayne fan and that was it. Zabriskie Point was a time when I was in a lot of change and flux and these incredible visuals hit me like they had rearranged the organs in my body. The ending and the free-floating debris and everything is an image that burned itself in my consciousness."

Freaky Friday with a killer twist
This nearly went under the radar but once I saw it was from the director of @Happy Death Day (2017) I was keen to check it out. So we have a killer twist on the body swap idea. As a serial killer and a high school girl swap bodies. This leads to a lot of interesting scenarios for both, although amusing they could have done a bit more on the comedy side.
It starts very well and in a very gory fashion with many nods to various slasher films especially Friday the 13th. Definitely a film made for horror fans. Although it slows a little bit before the final act, overall it was a fun film.

I expected this movie to be a copy of Black and Blue with slight variation and different actors. Turns out, the similarities just about end with the fact that both stories take place in Louisiana.

Body Cam follows a veteran police officer who is coping with the unexpected loss of her young son. She is assigned to patrol with a newer recruit when the cards come crumbling down and revelations begin to unfold in rapid succession.

There were some elements that I won't go into too much detail about so that I don't spoil anything for anyone, but I will say that if you have been putting off watching this movie for the same reason I did, don't. It's not remotely the same and it's actually quite good in its own rite.
