"Saw this at a Bresson retrospective at MOMA, popular dinner spot of many of NYC’s finest moviegoers. And who knew dinner could be so work-intensive, demanding to be unwrapped and rewrapped several times over? Now that I have Laurie Bird on my mind, I am seeing her resemblance and similarity to Balthazar’s Anne Wiazemsky. Maybe these two films have more in common than I would have thought. Both involve brown hair with bangs, drifters, and modes of transportation, although in the case of Balthazar the real tragic, beautiful victim is the donkey. You just don’t get more beautiful and tragic than a donkey. Let it be said that I did not liken James Taylor to a donkey."

This is a beautiful and thoughtful game that is described as a cozy time management game about death. You play as Stella the new spiritfarer who is taking over for Charon. Stella has to fulfill the final wishes of the spirits she meets before they make their final journey to the Everdoor, the gateway to the afterlife. There is exploration in the game as well as crafting and farming. The way the game truly shines is how thoughtful and gentle it is talking about death while telling a lovely story with some wonderful characters. The game is available to play on all platforms. Beautiful artwork (0 more)
I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan so I'd read the short story 'Snow Glass Apples' previously and enjoyed it. Although I've read most of his graphic novels with some of the recent adaptations of short stories I've not been sure if having a graphic novel version was really adding value. So when I saw there was a new adaptation of this one I had a look through before deciding to buy. All I can say is that the artwork is beautiful, Colleen Doran has done an excellent job bringing this to life, with sensitive handling of the more graphic details. I'd definitely recommend this, it's a lovely addition to any collection.
