Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Walking Out (2017) in Movies
Oct 1, 2017
Walking Out, a sublimely beautiful tale of father-son bonding in the Montana wilderness. Transitioning from testy estrangement to a serious state of emergency, the movie packs an impressive amount of psychology within its bare-bones plot

Erika (17789 KP) rated In the Heart of the Sea (2015) in Movies

I love period pieces, so I was all over this. It was really long, but I genuinely enjoyed it. All of the actors did very well with what they were given, and the direction was beautiful. I almost always like origin stories (in most cases), and this was the inspiration for Herman Melville's Moby Dick.

Great advice
Beautiful personality
Kind hearted soul
I have listened to many of Alex’s podcasts (and watch all her YouTube vids) and alex is just an amazing young woman who is so kind and inspiring. She honestly makes you feel like your best friends with her even though you have never meet.

Incredible CGI (1 more)
Excellent Storyline
A True Masterpiece
This is easily one of my favourite films. The CGI is INCREDIBLE for 2001. Absolutely beautiful. Storyline was fantastic, and no previous knowledge of Final Fantasy to enjoy it, I'd barely heard of Final Fantasy before this movie. Highly recommend to sci-fi and anime fans alike.

A Beautiful Movie

What happens when Matt Damon, George Clooney and, Brad Pitt star in a movie together? You get a awesome casino theft movie with lots of fun parts. The only down side to the movie was that a few parts were a bit slow. I would recommend this to any comedy lovers.

AT (1676 KP) rated Howl's Moving Castle (2004) in Movies
Apr 11, 2019
Howl's Moving Castle is my favorite Studio Ghibli film. It's based off of a novel, which I have yet to read. I should, since I hear it's much more in depth, as most tend to be. I loved the animation of this movie. It's really beautiful, compared to some of the other Studio Ghibli films.

Bohan Reviews (215 KP) rated At Eternity's Gate (2018) in Movies
May 7, 2019
There are moments that are beautiful in terms of the cinematography and the storytelling, but the glorification of every element of Van Gogh's life creates a problematic interpretation of a man who suffered from mental illness.

Autumn (3 KP) rated Lips Touch: Three Times in Books
Jan 19, 2018
i was so surprised i liked this novel. actually, it's three short stories. i almost didn't get it because it looked like it was geared toward love sick 14 year olds. but Taylor has a beautiful writing style and i liked that i could tell she was from the NW in the first few pages.

Very bright and colourful (2 more)
Level of details, realistic water
Enjoyable songs
Beautiful animation
Another great animation and for me one of the best in a long time. It's bright and colourful with amazing detail. The sea looks so realistic. For once I didn't mind the songs either. Simple story for the whole family to enjoy.
