The Interrupters (2011)
2011 | Crime, Documentary
So don’t see The Interrupters out of some grudging civic duty. See it for the beautiful and horrifying people, for the despair and the against-all-odds uplift. Hardiman stresses that CeaseFire doesn’t talk religion but it does work to save lives.

Gates continues to hold down the fort on his own for the most part. Aside from the previously released PnB Rock assisted "Beautiful Scars" that he dropped a couple weeks ago, By Any Means 2 features no other guest appearances.

This whimsical read follows Max as Max prepares for bed. However, the moon is missing so this brave kitty decides to go out and find it. The illustrations are beautiful and this is the perfect bedtime story to read to your child.

I don’t want to say anything more about this novel because it honestly speaks so eloquently and perfectly for itself, but I will say that Jodi Lynn Anderson’s Midnight at the Electric is one of the most beautiful and powerful books you’ll read this year.

Beautiful poignant storytelling across generations
Khaled Hosseini is one of the most amazing storytellers. His descriptions are moving and stunning told with such delicacy and subtlety, I shed many a tear reading it. Spanning across generations, the group of people all tied together experience both wonder and loss. The different narrators were great, understanding the importance of the culture through the language. Highly recommended.

I really loved the defenders and even my wife had to binge watch it, the final fell a little flat. But upto then with the colours, the imagery and the deffining stats of the whole series were amazing and beautiful.

amazing
The imagery was beautiful and amazing... the characters were sweet and wonderful.. and some really hott and sexy scenes were in this as well. If you enjoy a good, fast moving and sweet story I highly recommend this one. The ending had a twist that had my head spinning and amazed me.. This story is wonderful and I will be looking forward to more.

Tragic story of Irish communities
This book had a lot of similarities with Philomena. It's hugely tragic, about a woman who has been in an asylum for 80 years after being out there by malicious priests and community leaders, annulling her marriage and taking away her baby. While at times it seems improbable, the story of her psychiatrist trying to uncover her story is beautiful.

Oh man #BlackMirror - '#StrikingVipers' besides some hand holding at the start is pretty much flawless. Relevant, shocking, bleak, thought provoking, intelligent and well directed with a beautiful score and great performances. Possibly my favourite episode bar 'The Entire History Of You' which was pure perfection (mainly because I found it the most relatable and scarily hit a bit to close to home for me personally).

I read this first in spanish, didn't like it at all, so after Reading Laini Taylor's Strange the Dreamer and absolutely loving it, I decided to give this one another try this time in english, and that was the best desision I ever had. The writing style is gorgeus, the story it's original and I absolutely love the characters, specially Zuze.
