"The second non-fiction book by the legendary novelist and screenwriter responsible for such classic films as The Princess Bride (a personal favorite), Marathon Man, All The President’s Men and Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. Like the prequel, Which Lie Did I Tell includes candid behind-the-scenes stories, a window into the process of how to write good scripts and how The Princess Bride became his first screen credit in nearly nine years. A thoroughly entertaining insider’s look into how Hollywood works."

Glad I read this. The author provides an entertaining and informative look at what went on behind the scenes in the many, many months leading up to the 2012 Presidential election. It is fascinating to learn exactly what the candidates and their advisers were thinking when they decided to take various actions throughout the campaign. It is also impressive that there is little, if any, bias apparent throughout. This is a must read for anyone that follows politics at all.

"“I loved the drama of this exploration into the mechanism of smell, itself wrapped inside the romantic tale of a curmudgeonly scientist obsessed with his own exquisitely refined appreciation of perfume. This book gives a behind-the-scenes look into the world of manufactured scent: the history, the most prized essences, the sterile labs, the villainy, the exotic extracts, the big retail business—and the pure joy of olfactory response in customers who can recall major events in their life by inhaling a whiff of the cologne they wore at the time."

So, this was billed as the 'behind-the-scenes' look at the war between Sega and Nintendo. Now, I'm not sure where all of the invented conversations came from, but they struck me as odd. I imagine they were made up... Which you can't really do for something billed as non-fiction.
It was an interesting story, and shows very much why Sega is non-existent, why Nintendo keeps hanging on, and Sony that surpassed them.
