Wow. I was looking forward to the new Mission: Impossible film. But this delivered far beyond my expectations. I first noticed when my hands were sweating from the stress of the movie.

I think my favorite part was when I saw the sunrise at the end of the film and I thought that the explosion had killed everyone. The expectation subversion was perfect.

I really enjoyed the book. It was well rounded for a short story. Basically, without going into too much detail it’s the story of a fisherman who finds a pearl that changes beyond recognition and shows the evil and greed that jealousy causes. Even though you get a sense early on that it won’t end well for Kino and Juana, the last page is a shocker.

The film should have been...

Well it's been a while since I tried a low budget horror and spotted this on Amazon prime. With a cameo from Kylie Minogue and starring Molly Ringwald. Never heard of it before and not surprised why. Really beyond the so bad it's kinda funny stage. Just really bad acting, script and ideas. One to miss.
