If you're a fan of dark romance this is a MUST READ series!!!
Tess & Q will always hold a special place in my heart as the Monsters in the Dark series was my first dark romance. Quickly falling absolutely in love with Pepper's writing, I anticipate each one more than the next. This was a beautiful, perfect visit with old friends and the HEA Tess and Q deserved. Their story broke me and this ending was more than I could have ever expected. I hurt for them watching them struggle through this new territory in their relationship and it was beyond painful to see Q beat himself up the way that he did... HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended book, series & author. If you're a fan of dark romance this is a MUST READ series!!!

The fourth book in The Lost Fleet spinoff Beyond The Frontier series, that picks up from the previous in starting with 'Black Jack' Geary on planet Earth. It's not long, however, before they are back in space when two of his crew are kidnapped, with the kidnappers then landing on the most feared planet in the universe(s), leaving Geary having to make a decision about what to do.

If I'm honest, and having read the blurb: I thought that that portion of the story would have taken much longer than it did: it only took place in the early part of the novel, before Geary and his crew were back in Alliance space, and before it was back to the usual Alliance/Syndicates plot.

Also have to say: read the earlier books first! :-)

A collection of classic Conan tales, repackaged with a new jacket to tie-in to the new movie coming out. This edition includes:

The Tower of the Elephant (pg 1)
Rogues in the House (pg 27)
The Frost-Giant's Daughter (pg 54)
Queen of the Black Coast (pg 63)
A Witch Shall Be Born (pg 95)
The People of the Black Circle (pg 141)
Red Nails (pg 226)
Beyond the Black River (pg 212)
The Hyborian Age (pg 372)
Cimmeria (verse) (pg 397)

and, to be honest, I'd be more inclined to give the book 1.5 stars (except GR doesn't do 1/2 stars) than 2: I preferred some of my other 2-star rated books, but this wasn't as bad as some of my 1-star rated books either.

Mr. Iglesias
Mr. Iglesias
2019 | Comedy
I've been a fan of Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias' stand up comedy for forever. He's a very funny guy, and I like how his comedy is fairly clean. I was beyond excited when I heard he had his own sitcom on Netflix! I wasn't disappointed at all.

The first couple of episodes are pretty cheesy, but this show does get much better! The casting is fantastic, and the comedy timing is perfect. It's obvious that all the cast members love acting in the show. It's not all just laughs though. Mr. Iglesias does focus on some serious issues and school issues with each episode. All the issues are tackled head on in such a great way.

I would definitely recommend this show to everyone who needs a good laugh. It's one of the best sitcoms around!

Kinda Meh!
When Jenine finds an abandoned camera in a lighthouse, she takes a photo for fun. But there's something very, very wrong with the picture: it contains ghosts.

Jenine and her best friend, Bree, realise the camera is capable of capturing the dead. But with each new photo taken, the spectres become more aware and more alert, and begin following the friends. Desperate, Jenine seeks the help of a paranormal researcher. He only has bad news, though: they've meddled with something far beyond their control, and the ghosts won't stop... not until Jenine and Bree are dead.

Very interesting theory, and whilst it is a short read I found it skipping over details. The characters were lacking in depth and likability.
